Sounds like the band just needs to take matters into their own hands (wait for 0:08): Honestly, I don't mind filming from the crowd in moderation. I personally like to record a few seconds here and there to capture the vibe of the concert, but then put it away and enjoy the show. In regards to band's liking/disliking filming, I get that they want their crowd to be present, but I don't know if I like the idea of "because some fans are ruining it, no one can use their phone." I watch a lot of (relatively) smaller acts live and a lot of them appreciate it when fans record videos and tag them on social media. Many of them will repost fan photos and videos too. Heck, one guy I took a photo of used my photo as his artist profile page on his parent label's web shop site:

Haha I THINK I am! But maybe there's something inside me trying to yell help 🤔I've had dreams of dying in the past though and honestly, this was probably one of the tamer ones. In another much bleaker dream (this was after watching a ton of Walking Dead), me and a group were running away from a horde of zombies. We went into this abandoned factory but it ended up being filled to the brim with zombies. We couldn't go back out so we just pushed our way through inside. No matter where we turned there were zombies spilling out of doorways and windows. We spotted an enormous incinerator and it was at that point we decided that was the better way out. So we all walked in, held each other for comfort and had our final moment before someone turned it on. I'm realizing now that I have a lot of burning dreams... But, I swear I'm okay!

Had a dream I died last night. Me and a whole group of people were standing at the bottom of a rocky valley. There was a sun like object floating above us and as it got closer everyone got pulled up to it. I was anxious as I saw the people in front of me getting engulfed by it. When it finally reached me I closed my eyes. I wasn't afraid to die but it was the anticipation of pain that frightened me. As the light engulfed me though, it didn't really hurt. I lost all feeling except for the sensation of searing on my body. I tried opening my eyes and all I saw was this yellowish/white brightness. And at this point I gave in to the light.
  5. Wait, were you at that release party???

Starlight is so good though. And Distortion isn't half bad.
  7. ghost

Yikes. Sorry to hear that. At least they gave you something you can actually use after the concert lol

What?? That's lame. They really couldn't be bothered to sign a few things and/or take photos?
  9. 2019 was good year to start getting into rap and hip hop:

Yeah, but if you haven't been into rap before now you seriously need to check out the classics from the 80's and 90's. Straight Outta Compton, The Chronic, Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers), It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back, Mama Said Knock You Out, Raising Hell and so on. The amount of must-hear hip hop albums from the 80's and 90's are just insane. Very different from modern stuff tho, but it's not unusual to hear some very, very, very clear nods towards the older stuff.

And if you're into the whole Atlanta trap scene and trap music in general then the 90's Memphis scene is a must. "Everyone" from Drake and Migos to ASAP Ferg, Asap Rocky, Cardi B, Rae Sremmurd, Young Buck, Chance the Rapper, 21 Savage, Chief Keef, Trippie Redd, Lil Yachty, Suicideboys, ScHoolboy Q, E-40, Waka Flocka Flame and many, many more have either used some well-known Three 6 Mafia flows/verses or had beats with Three 6 Mafia samples or just remixed some tracks. Which I really like btw, and it's about time Three 6 Mafia and the Memphis scene finally got the recognition it deserves. Which is also why Juicy J pops up everywhere nowadays. Well deserved. Easily my favourite rap scene and many of my favourite 90's hip hop albums were released by Memphis artists.

The whole "Migos flow" which has been incredibly popular these last decade is basically nothing but a (Three 6 Mafia) Lord Infamous flow, which was a flow that got pretty popular in the Memphis scene during the 90's. And Migos quite obviously got it from them. Such a sexy flow too.

@YuyoDrift - I feel you on YT. Honestly, I kind of keep up to date through keeping tabs on upcoming vinyl releases. There's a couple places where I go to keep my eyes open for popular releases and go from there.

And, kind of silly, but also through meme videos. It sounds funny, but often times I'll find a lot of good music on the most random youtube videos. I found out about Deathgrips and DaBaby that way. And Tyler the Creator I discovered when he made an appearance on The Eric Andre Show.

@Bear - I knowww. This is awesome, I don't know any of the classics so this will be a great starting point. I got a lot of listening up to do.

  10. Sounds like just about what I expected, but damn he sounds just as good as he used to growls and all. I wonder how much of the songwriting he's doing too because that second song has some real Monsters vibes on it.

Kind of related, but I like finding random items inside the spine of the case. Like with Dir en grey's Macabre having wooden beads or Mucc's Antique having a nail. Wish more bands experimented with that.

That certainly makes sense! Haha can I really sell a service if it's only worked haphazardly just for me? lolol

I would watch something like that on TV haha. I think dreams can have meaning from time to time, but it can be something as trivial as "I had pasta today" and so I dream about going to an Italian restaurant, or something like the dream I just shared. But no joke, there were a few times where my dreams foreshadowed the kind of job I was about to get. 1. I interviewed with a cancer research company for an internship position which my dad found for me. Before getting and offer from them, I had a dream that I went to adopt a dog at a shelter. There were a ton of dogs and, out of all of them, I chose of large happy golden retriever. I just left with the dog having my parents pay for it. At the real job, it was a great experience. Everyone was nice, supportive, and the most caring group of people I had ever met. 2. This time I interviewed with a small company for a web development job. In my dream, I was taking care of this tiny chihuahua. It was covered in blood and I was trying to catch it so I could clean it up, but it just wouldn't come to me and was giving me a really hard time. In real life, this ended up being the worst job I'd ever worked. The company was very small, just 5 people including the boss. We had no microwave, you couldn't be in the bathroom for too long, you had to take your lunch break at a specified time and it was mandatory to take an hour break, and the boss was right next door and if you ended up having a conversation for more than like 5 minutes he would come over and tell us to get back to work. The worst part was I had no idea how much money I was making. He was very vague when he offered me the job and one time I asked him upfront and he gave me an unclear answer. I could go on, but it was terrible. 3. I had just moved cities and was looking for work. There were 2 places I had interviewed with that seemed promising. One was some kind of information tech company and the other was a biotech company. In my dream I drove up to a really nice mansion. I went to the backyard where there were 2 golden doodles. One of them just walked away but the other one came to me and I gave it some pets. The biotech company ended up hiring me and my time there was also very nice. I learned a ton, the people were great, and it was the best place I had worked at up until that time. This has only happened to me 3 times with these specific dreams but it makes we wonder if we're actually able to get some insight into the future through dreams. I wanna say these dreams were more like impressions I got from the company during the interview that ended up being true. And, I don't know why they were all dogs.

I'm glad I'm not the only one feeling this way : ) Haha, I guess so. I'd never compare my situation to getting cleaved to death (lol) but maybe on some level I feel like it is a huge drain on my life. I know I just need to give her time to get up on her feet though.

Haha this might be getting too personal but I think responsibility. My sister and I live together right now and she's going through a career transition. She's been at home a lot while looking for work (understandably) and I've been supporting her financially for a lot of things. I love the girl and, honestly, couldn't ask for a better roommate, but I guess I've been kind of stressed about it since I don't really have any alone time (I'm a huge introvert).

Anyone ever have those dreams where something horrific appears on your laptop or tv and, no matter what you do, you aren't able to turn it off? I had one of those last night. I'm putting this in a spoiler for people who can't do extreme gore and violence.

Only played the SNES version when I was like 6, but remembered this soundtrack out of the blue Shiiiiet that's good

Now I'm even more curious. That's fair though. I hope someday dream reading machines become a reality. Dunno if that's a good or bad thing, but I'd be so curious to compare my recollection vs a (theoretically) more accurate capture.

Care to share any of them? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) I think too the more you write down your dreams, the easier it gets to write about them. When I first started out writing down my dreams, I usually only wrote down like a sentence or two, and in some cases just words. I've actually always wanted to animate or create a video of a few dreams I've had because it's just too difficult to put them into the words to describe the feeling or event. But I can't animate and can't imagine trying to get a crew to reenact a shot dream, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

@Manabu - Hey thanks! Really happy you think that 😀 That's a good suggestion. Yeah, now that you mention it I think it does sound on the hotter side. Thanks for your input : )
