I read the book a while back and if the movie is going to be anything like the book, it's going to be very heavy and dramatic. There's a lot of cringe scenes like rape and very grotesque violence. Also, Miyavi is going to be the main villain. I wonder what made him choose this role since Watanabe (his character) was pretty much criminal (and later on became a wanted criminal) in the abuse and torture of POWs. He also was schizophrenic, from what I got out of the book with constant mood swings. He'd beat the prisoners then give them cigarettes and rock candy if they "thanked" him for beating them.

Yes, I've bought a ton if music from Google Play and I've never had a problem with quality. Plus what's nice is despite being able to download the music, your purchase is also tied to your Google account so its automatically streamable through Google Music on the website (play.Google.com/music/listen) and the Android/iOS app too.

Unfortunately, there was no physical edition despite plans to. I'm not really sure why plans for the physical release fell through but Good Fight ended up just releasing it digitally to all major online music outlets (iTunes, Google Play, Spotify, etc.) which i'm not really complaining about - i'm able to stream the album. However, Amazon is selling the physical Japanese burundanga for about $15 which is a steal.

U.S. label Good Fight will be releasing the album too. They were the ones who released burudanga also. No release date but I'm assuming shortly after the Japanese release.

I really am curious what it'll sound like after their last album.

I guess opinions are mixed on the single but I, honestly, loved the single track. The mix of random light electronics, the trippy guitar effects, and Kyo's vocal effects make for a really solid track that blew me away and I didn't even have any high expectations at all. I haven't enjoyed a good single from them that is this melodic (in the chorus, anyway) since Dozing Green. As for the B-sides, the acoustic version of Ruten no tou is decent. It's not as out there like their other acoustic songs however it's only worth a couple of listens. And the final live track.. is just what it is.. a live track. Overall, I give the single a 7/10. Disappointed in the content included in the single itself though - I kind of wish the B-sides were something better but I was not disappointed in the A-track at all.

^ TBH i'd be super pissed if it's just a mini album. After all this waiting, we get just a little mini album with 5-6 tracks. Fuck that. I think Blackjacks deserve a full album because 'To Anyone' was released.. what.. 3-4 years ago? It's time, 2NE1!

Some good picks on there like shadan, volcano and patchwork. I hope it's not a live best-of though. Would really like good version of volcano (hoping the best-of is remastered anyway).

I'm all for this, honestly! I've been watching some anime on hulu and Netflix. Streaming services have really brought me back to watching anime for the first time in years. It's great!

I agree, their last album was a surprise. Sure it had some candy-coated songs but their last couple albums haven't really disappointed me and I am okay with the fact that i'll never get another 666 or Kuchiki no tou because those albums are just long behind them.
