  1. I think regardless if you like or hate it, you can't deny you're not curious and you will probably check out the releases. Gazette have this tendency to have samples that make you go "hmmm...maybe this won't be so bad". Sometimes its bad. Sometimes its good. Somtimes it amazing, but personally, I will follow Gazette to the grave so I'm super stoke for this!

  2. No particluar order on favorite songs of each band:

  3. Probably sometime in 10th grade when I got my copy of Thousand Arms and I fell in love with Ayumi Hamasaki. That was the first time experienced actual Japanese music. For some reason when I typed in Japanese music, Dir en Grey and Gazette came up. First, hated Dir en Grey. I heard "Ash" first and was like...eww...japanese music...then I heard Gazette "Anata No Tame No Kono Inochi" and was like "yeah! this is more my style"...then I went to Otakon in 2004 and saw L'arc en Ciel live. And then from there it was just an unending cycle. Started with more Gazette, L Arc en Ciel and Malice Mizer...then Gackt by himself. Then, I came back to Dir en Grey and then I went through a Pop stage as I went back to Ayumi Hamaski...so it was Ayumi, Koda Kumi, Amuro Namie, Se7en, and Boa (didn't know the last two were korean artists...Kpop actually came like 2 years ago to me. lol). Then back to Jrock with bands like Ruvie and Kurt and so on. And now I'm just a big jumble of music now. Love it all! Jrock, Jpop, Kpop...hate K-rock though.

  4. I think this is very good solid song. Its not a problem to me if bands have some mainstream accessible songs...I mean I don't see how this song is too different for them. Its in the lines of Starry Heaven, Eve:r, etc. to me just more refined. This will end up being a good album. I'm sure.

  5. Agreed. They could have cut it by a minute (like right before the last chorus part). I enjoyed it, but all those whispers in the background kind of annoy me in some parts. Still, Lycaon is showing promise again! :) . I'll enjoy this kind of sexual vibe to their songs as long as they keep trying things like this and less of things like EROS. lol. For some reason too, I don't like how the vocals are engineered onto the song. Its like the producer doesn't know how to make the vocals sound like they are in the song and not just sitting on top of the instrumental.

  6. This sounds to me like a continuation of aicle to be honest. Like how they were going with Koutei penguin, Starmine, etc. Those later songs before they disbanded...it's very catchy and I enjoy it a lot. It's just a different style for Emiru/Satoshi but its still solid to me. I think I'll enjoy this. They should definitely be given a chance. Emiru/Satoshi sounds really nice too compared to some of his Aicle songs. I am very interested in seeing where Rubi goes though.

  7. Sounds decent, but there isn't anything catchy about it. To be honest, I like the instrumental more than the vocals. not that the vocals are bad, I just felt the instrumental was more interesting. I did like this better than Avalon and I respect the amount of growth they've had within such a short amount of time. It's really impressive.
