I really like Cena, but like some other superstars, he represent the past of the company.

Still putting on the best matches, and making WWE the most money, he'll be the past when someone gets on his level.

P.S. he beats Owens at MitB, either by combining the springboard stunner with the AA, or turning the Pump Up Powerbomb into a Hurricanrana, then the AA. Owens used all his biggest moves to win, Cena still has a lot in the bag!
