Have to go with Exist Trace. Danger Gang has some nice, catchy songs but overall Exist Trace has more that fits my taste.

Matenrou Opera's GLORIA sound very alike Rhapsody's Emerald Sword And their Boukyaku celluloid has some similiar riffs in the intro like Children of Bodom's Are you dead yet.

Yeah, the Decola Hopping x One Star CD that was limited to 50 copies during their live. Never getting to listen to those songs.

I am not familiar with any of those above but I can recomend my new found favorites ROACH Another none vk band I can think of is Bowl. I am not sure if they are indie or not, I heard their songs through the yu-gi-oh gx intros and thought they were pretty good.
