Awww yisss. I still love your song choices! I know what I'll be jamming out to on my ride to work this morning.
Same minimal critique as before that once you got these songs down to work on expanding your picking technique so that you can add more nuance to your playing.
You're rockin' it out and it's great! Keep it up.

Looks like I had an OS problem... If I had formatted my computer on time none of this would've happened probably. But I'm a dummy when it comes to this stuff I should know better now.
    What are you using currently?

Sorry to hear it wasn't quite a simple reinstall. Good luck with the lab, I also hope it's not too serious (or costly) for you.

Withering to death for me was the best and most played in my library. It had a little of everything there and just a great energy (and live it was just as good if not better!!). Gauze would be my close second since that was my introduction to them and I have so many nostalgia feels attached to it.. After Withering I've had a hard time enjoying their music. I like catchy Dir en grey, what can I say? XD

After reading these comments I'm quite surprised some people have misgivings about withering to death. I thought people saw MOAB as the bad guy?! (I love both albums by the way).

You're not alone there, it seems to be the common consensus that they've gone downhill since Zion (and to others a steady decline since their first album). But I'm not afraid of them leaving the metal genre... so maybe that's why I'm more optimistic? ^^; However, Madness left a LOT to be desired in either genre and like I said before, I can understand why a lot of people are disappointed with the direction they're taking. You hit the nail on the head with what they're emphasizing now, it was all Ken, Teru, some bland riffs and a basic drum beat. It just feels like they wrote that purposefully holding back to me. But maybe that's just how my brain is trying to rationalize it.

You're a bit more optimistic than I am. This single took everything Crossfaith was about, and watered it down to feature more cleans and an emphasis on the electronic parts. Their previous album hinted at this change; but here it is even more evident.

I became turned off to their music when Apocalyze came out, and with this single I have grown even more distant. There's no longer that energy I had in anticipation for new releases. Instead that's been replaced with dread: a fear of where they're going with their music and what it will become.

Yes, the design is often (though, far from always) the same, but the size ain't the same as you said. Great artwork, and especially artworks with lots of details, will always look better when bigger. It's the same as with posters or whatever. What's better and cooler to look at; a 20x30cm poster or a 60x90cm poster? I'd go with the 60x90cm every single day of the week, all year long.

But as I said, a CD is more practical and it sounds good, but me, I buy more than the music whenever I buy something. I buy a whole package, which I why I have become very careful with what I buy.

It's middle of the road for me. I was hoping it would grow on me but I find it kind of forgettable. I'm hoping the other songs on the single have a little more oomph to them. I do really like Ken's cleans in the verses, but thats about the only parts of the song I enjoy. Tatsuya and Hiroki feel like they got put in the backseat and told to keep it lowkey this time around, and the drums are a huge factor for me in what keeps them equal parts metal and electronic. But they really upped the electronic parts in this to where all I walk away with is the vocals and synth. Guitar riffs in this weren't as catchy as some of their other material either, so that also left things fairly lackluster for me. Maybe all of those teasers made me expect something way more epic.

Overall, I'm just hoping this was a test for Sony to water them down a bit and see what crowds react to it so they know how to market them since this was a debut single... but it's too early to tell. I'm not ready to throw in the towel yet, and I don't find the song to be so bad I can't listen to it or anything, it's just not gonna be on heavy rotation in my playlists.

I feel the same as digitalbounce,It's not bad but there is room for major improvement. If the other 2 songs share a similar sound, hopefully any feedback they get out of this single will help them rework how they approach it if they plan to go that direction for their next full length. Even though Apocalize is my least favorite album by them and this song is nowhere near as good as it could have been, I still love these guys and will always be looking forward to what they release! (and if sony does try to control them, I hope they at least put up a fight about it.)

So, what do you guys think about the new song "MADNESS"? I personally loved it. I kinda miss the screaming, Kenta's screaming is pretty unique, but hey!, his clean vocals are nice too.

I agree, I don't think a new OS is going to help since the blue screen is usually a hardware failure. Most of my experience with it had to do with hard drive problems (viruses or an actual factory defect), Owl has recommended what I would say as well, try 7 again if that's what you already have. It will let you know fairly quickly if it's a simple software problem. You were probably recommended to upgrade since the mouse and tablet problems sound like driver errors, but that's another thing simply re-installing your current OS should fix.

Went to this record thing today where lots of people have stands and sell their shit, and I ended up with the following:

    Vinyl:

Don Peake ‎– The Hills Have Eyes (soundtrack)
Roberto Donati ‎– Mangiati Vivi! / Eaten Alive! (soundtrack)
Steve Moore ‎– Horror Business (soundtrack)

    Tape:

Soundtracks is the shit. Will try to add some photos when I have my shitty-ass phone around.

As for me, I don't get why people would pay for digital flacs, but it's still a purchase, so please comment in this thread.

Blurred Lines is fantastic. It's catchy as fuck, which is all that matters to be honest.

Also, drugs? Who gives a fuck what he's doing. Could be snorting mountains of cocaine for all that I care, just like with every other artist out there.

Here's the thing though, everyone and their mother knows that SADIE can't stand on their own two feet without jacking whatever Dir is doing at the given time. The GazettE has always been a hard/heavy band. MUCC from what I last heard has pretty much treaded into different directions musically. These comparisons are pretty baseless imo.
And also, I don't mean to rehash this but...these are samples. Seems a bit much to make such generalizations on a few seconds of a song.
