Not crazy about his vocals but I was enjoying the song otherwise.

I'm really curious to hear a good number of these. 風と太陽 / cali≠gari 謡声(ウタゴエ) / 氣志團 最終列車 / THE BACK HORN 大嫌い / THE ORAL CIGARETTES ガーベラ / sukekiyo Mr.Liar / ヒステリックパニック 流星 / Plastic Tree アイアムコンピュータ / POLYSICS all look like cool picks and bands covering that can put their own flavor on it.

Agree about the break being well deserved. Hope they get to live it up, enjoy the fruits of their labor for a while and get some rest too.

Happy to help, it's nice when these old magazines are still good for something lol. Both ideas sound cool! Would love to see how it turns out.

The photo is about the size of a business card in the middle of an empty page, so I don't think I was able to get much more quality out of the scanner, but I did try also taking a regular photo of the image and was able to tone down the grain, though you end up with some slight glare and distortion from the page not being quite as flat. But maybe one of these does the job for you. (if you open the image in a new tab/window they will be larger) edit: Bonus version where I played in photoshop merging and painting a bit trying to get some shading details back into the scan.

It's from Cure Magazine Vol.32. (May 2006). I have the magazine, I'll see if I can get any better but the picture is pretty small to begin with. And my scanner isn't very good.

So many guitarists with the same names getting my hopes up only to be the wrong Tsukasa. x_x

Awesome! I'm happy you decided to give them a second chance!

I would have been a lot more interested in this band with a different vocalist so I'm hoping they press on with someone new. But I'm not gonna hold my breath for it.

I wasn't really into Gleem, I preferred their Meteoroid sound a lot more. I'm still sad to see them split up though.
-
Slash still got it.

Edit: This got clarified by much more adept speakers than me.

Yep, Absolute came with the sticker through CDJapan. I just happened to go back on CDJapan for the first time in ages and saw they still had copies so I had to snag them. I also tried to get the Azami/VoF split but they couldn't get it. VoF looks insane live, the last video I saw the singer had jumped into the pit and come back to the stage bleeding from the head. Those concerts have to be great. lol

I really need to get back into studying! Nice to see this group @togz! Name: Kelly Age: 35 Years studied: Maybe 2-3 years seriously, but a lot of time on and off trying to teach myself. Estimated level: I've completed beginners level classes and books and I can read a bit but listening skills, pronunciation, and formulating grammar just... i need lots of help lol. Knowledge of Hiragana/Katakana: All Kanji: I used to be closer to 500 but I think I've backslid to probably around 300 at this point. What is your main goal with studying Japanese?: I guess conversational, definitely grammar. What materials have you used before?: My online classes had us working out of Japanese for Busy People workbooks, since then I do some duolingo and watch youtube channels like Japanesepod101 and tomoko tomoko.

I understand. It took me a while to feel comfortable jumping into discussions around here when I first joined too, but I'm sure you'll fit right in.

Welcome to the fandom! I've been following them about 10 years (I knew of them before that but wasn't really into them yet) so if I can help answer any questions I'm happy to, or even just talk about them in general, I'm always down. There's a few others running around the forum too, I'm sure you'll see them in MUCC related threads. @qotka @Zeusand @Seimeisenhave some interesting MUCC reviews up in the staff reviews section too which are good places to join some discussions.

Wish I could get my hands on this, all three together has to be great.

Welcome fellow Mucker! It's nice to see someone who enjoys their recent material as much as their old stuff, I see a lot of fans lean towards their early material. But I tend to prefer mid 00s to current era MUCC myself. Myakuhaku is great, I'm also loving the self-covers on NOT greatest hits.

Agreed. The new, young bands get most of the hype, even here. But I was happy to see MUCC's anniversary releases and the D'erlanger tribute album getting some real discussion going lately. Maybe with more of us we can help bring a little visibility back to older bands who deserve it.

Welcome fellow Mucker! Nice to see you still enjoy some of the older bands, see you around the forum. ^^
