I liked that article. Having been pirating for as long as I have, I remember the times when you were just happy to hear the music and ppl didn't feel entitled to 320 and flac rips. Sometimes, I wonder if some are more concerned with the quality of the files more than the quality of the music.

I definitely agree about the part of just being happy to find something that was often hard to find. But I don't enjoy listening to 92kbps now when I can upgrade it for 10$. lol

I will say, certain songs I downloaded would have glitches, which I thought were part of the song, and without them it's sort of jarring
