Isn't PANDRA the proper title? I keep saying it on twitter being written that way by retweets from the band and from the stores that will be selling the CD
  2. Well that doesn't mean anything that there are 4 of them. Their albums usually have around 14 songs so that would mean 10 new songs or so. Unless they do a Vistlip and have 18 songs on their album haha

FADELESS: Nothing's changed, haven't heard any new part of that preview, still waiting for the PV to get fully excited Quiet: I'm guessing this song is your "2 choruses before the solo and then a final chorus" kind of song. It's 5 minutes long and that preview showed the start of a good drum solo and maybe a guitar solo. Very lovely chorus, haven't heard one this good in a while. Forbidden Beaver: Sounds like a song made to pump you up, in a sense. It's the VERMIN of 2013

According to Ruki's twitter, and if I'm reading it right, tomorrow they're doing a shoot for the album (i'm guessing it's the band shots unless it's for the cd booklets or cover). He also mentioned them doing something for the PV yesterday which he thinks is amazing

Nostalgie preview https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=534201923317510 Scarlet preview https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=534196896651346 This was already posted but on a separate topic so I thought i'd post it here with the album topic
  6. Augie1995

Why is this a topic? This should have been posted on the already existing topic for JUPITER's album, not as it's own separate topic.

Oh...I don't think they've made a single as great as this since PLEDGE. Really hope we get the full PV soon, even though SONY will probably keep it hidden until the day before the release. Forbidden Beaver is another sex song, but I already like the feeling of the song than I did when I heard the previews for MY DEVIL ON THE BED. Only thing that made me love MyDOTB was the intro bass line, I just hope the chorus for Forbidden Beaver isn't as cheesy as MyDOTB was.

Hope you have an easy couple of weeks while you're gone and you have a fantastic birthday! As long as it's just a hiatus and not an indefinite hiatus, I am happy hahah
  9. All right, since I am looking for prog bands (doesn't matter what country) ever since I got into Periphery about a year ago, I was hoping some of you that are more knowledgeable on this matter could suggest some awesome Prog metal/rock bands to me. Avoid posting bands that are also mostly non-stop screaming, I do appreciate when a band has come amazing clean vocals (Like Periphery and Chronographs) I already know and love these bands here: Periphery TesseracT Chronographs Sean Hall Anciients Between The Buried and Me The HAARP Machines Means End Polyphia Scale The Summit Uneven Structures If you know bands that are similar to Periphery, TesseracT, Scale The Summit, and/or Polyphia, DO NOT HESITATE to post that band on here

Dizzy full PV out. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x12n7vl_nightmare-dizzy-hd-pv_music The riffs are kind of cool but they go on for a good minute and a half with only Yomi adding some low key vocals. Basically after that the song gets loads better, the guitar solo is awesome~

SATISFACTION as in "We won't stop releasing singles until no SATISFACTION comes out of our songs to our fans"
  13. Augie1995

I don't think ViViD deserves to be in the tacky category for their MESSAGE and Infinity covers, but they do deserve to be in the most non-creative cover arts or at least "low-budget" looking covers even though they were major for those covers
  14. Augie1995

Yeah, who is she? She sings on Scarlett and Counting Stars I believe
  15. I don't feel it on this new one but on Itai Onna, I felt like Miku was very monotone... in his own way. I don't know why but to me it sounds like Miku sings every part of that preview the same way throughout the whole thing. You can't really tell that much what part is the chorus or the verses because he sings in the same tempo throughout the whole thing. The instrumentation of course help out with that. I definitely like this new one though.

Prog bands tend to overdo it. i think the only one who keeps it simple, yet elegent to me, is Periphery: But Prog bands like Born of Osiris make some really overdone artwork that actually looks amazing:

    HOW COULD I FORGET MUSE!!!
  18. Augie1995

I saw both topics on the tackiest and the best cover art but I noticed that they were only confined to VK, it really confines you a lot and there really isn't much in VK nowadays since bands tend to just have a band photo as a cover art (Looking at you ViViD and Mejibray) What I want is to see members post cover arts from any genre that they consider to be the best in their eyes.... Aaaaaand go! Polyphia (Inspire EP) Polyrhythmic prog band (currently instrumental) made up of four guys ranging between ages 19-20 Palms (Self-titled EP) Deftones lead singer side project Hands like Houses (Unimagine album) Australian rock band, killer music Anciients [not a typo] (Heart of Oak album) Vancouver-based rock juggernaut force Enter Shikari (A Flash Flood Of Colour album) British post-hardcore band that combines post-hardcore and various heavy metal sub-genres such as metalcore and alternative metal
  19. Augie1995

I have to second what all the replies to your post say. The GazettE and Screw are definitely not the same. Ruki definitely overpowers Byou anytime of the day both in the studio and at lives
  20. Augie1995

Idk how I feel about the MUCC covers. I kind of like the Shangri-la based on how the album was but the Falling Down single covers were definitely tacky. I don't know exactly what you mean by tacky but how about these: MEJIBRAY- Emotional KARMA Versailles- Versailles NoGoD- LOVE?
  21. Augie1995

Actually, Korey left the band, then Raychel decided to leave the band after not even a year with Signal. The real reason for their disbandment, was because Rua was leaving due to musical differences and Signal decided to break up from that point on
  22. Damn, I hope he gets better. I like him a lot. It's a good thing it was diagnosed early, if left alone that could progress and lead to death
  23. Augie1995

https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=vnYVYZ_qE1s I love the chorus!! Best I've heard (chorus wise) in a while! I'm excited for this now, I was sketched out but they're off the electronic too from what it seems
  24. Augie1995

    I second the above comment
  25. Augie1995

Yup, about as many times as the term 'generic' is used
