This year in music has been all up for me. First Periphery releases a great EP, then The Kindred with the most unique metal album, Architects with an intense album, and now Intervals with some epic melodies and vocal addition

Intervals for sure made album #1 of 2014 for me already. We're 1/4 of the way in, it's not too soon. It all depends on Periphery's album in the summer and Animals As Leaders album in a few weeks

Intervals, The Kindred, Architects, and Tell Me A Fairytale already made my Top 10 of 2014 and I don't see them getting off it.

Intervals!! Oh, what a perfect album. No low point. First The Kindred releases the most unique metal album i've ever heard and then ARCHITECTS gets all intense with me and now this.

I invite you all to listen to ViViD's new album. Haven't heard anything this good since Yume. The only letdown on this album was Hikari and that dubstep interlude. This album was their heaviest since their indies and I love it.

Periphery just played their first live in Japan (Tokyo I believe) and Vistlip's Yuh was there.

So new MUSE single in December and a new album in 2015 AND they're going back to their original sound with raw instrumentals.

No.... Periphery's new EP is too good. 2014 is set to be amazing. This is EP is the most creative idea, brought with the most varied songs, and with such intensity that I lost control for a good 30 minutes. Aside from their album and Intervals new album with a damn good vocalist, this is the best EP of the year no matter what
