(I love your signature.) With as much bad news and doom and gloom that goes around when something like this surfaces, it's really nice to have a little ray of light. I was really relieved once I'd read it all; Kyoka is a cool dude.

"o hai," says the aforementioned buddy (whoa I still have an account here): http://shattered-tranquility.net/index.php/01/29/kyokas-cancer-scare/ Sounds like they caught it in time.

Wataru isn't leaving until after the live on the 10th; he'll play at that live. Nozomi's claimed they'll get a new guitarist but whether or not they have someone in mind isn't known yet.
  4. My heaven's luck sisters last live DVD contents: Enjoy guys. I should note that there's a wee bit of bonus footage at the end that it doesn't look like I managed to rip, but it's just a bit of MCing and they bring Calmando Qual's Kenka out on stage to badger him for a bit. I'll rip it if I get the chance, but the above 12 videos contain -everything else- on the DVD.
  5. No problem! 8D (And, Nozomi/Boy!)
  6. ...whoa, so he got back to me SUPER fast and said I can post the whole thing on youtube. I'll start working on that!
  7. Okay! Well, I'll post again if/when they get some new merch (though Trombe is pretty on top of things and might beat me to it! ;D) and in the meantime, I'll keep you on my list for CDs and do what I can about the DVD.
  8. I don't think it's off topic! XD Yet! All they're selling so far is their CDs and cheki -- which are little poloroids they take of the members, for anyone who isn't familiar. Usually, you don't get to pick which pictures you get, but Warugkai actually does let you pick who you want pictures of instead of leaving it up to chance. I highly, highly doubt I can get you a physical copy of the DVD, but you're not missing much as far as packaging -- they came on home-burned DVDs slipped inside brown crate paper for protection. XD As far as the content... we shall see. ;D
  9. Awesome! As far as their last live, I managed to get a copy (a friend went for me and mailed it to me when I was still overseas), but they weren't for sale. They were given out to the people who attended the last live; it's the same sort of deal as Warugaki's distribution CD; they only made enough copies to supply the people that were there. So, I don't think it's possible to get it. What I CAN do is find out if it's alright for me to post the contents -- since they weren't selling them it isn't as though they could lose money, and I DO recall sicks encouraging people to youtube it. XD I'll find out though and do what I can.
  10. Though I missed their debut live (kinda hard to get to Tokyo sometimes), I've been to the last two and nabbed copies of their CDs as well as some cheki. I have to say they're absolutely fabulous live, and are already of a higher caliber than My heaven's luck sisters was (and I loved them, really did) and they're only 3 shows into their career. The members are well-rehearsed, charismatic, and just a lot of fun to watch. Their CDs (so far) are entirely self-produced. The recording quality isn't the best considering they must have paid out-of-pocket to have it done, but they're still enjoyable and I like them! It pales in comparison to how fun they are live, though. They show projector videos before the start of each set, usually with some pretty questionable material -- Warugaki is an adult-oriented band with a pretty apparent underlying theme of sexual harassment. The fact that Nozomi dons assless shorts -- and nothing else -- on stage, kind of speaks to this. XD I'm mostly posting here to give a perspective on them and see if I can answer any questions for anyone (or do any favors) -- I've been a fan of Nozomi for a couple years so I'm really excited to be able to go to these shows, and I'm all about spreading the love. In that vein, I wanna make their CDs more available to their fans outside of the Tokyo area/country. Since they're self-produced their CDs are only sold at their lives, so it's basically tough luck if you can't go. And I don't like that, but I definitely understand the reasoning behind it; distribution would cost a fortune. Before I make this tl;dr I'll cut to the chase -- If it were possible for you to purchase their CDs (or cheki, or other goods they may release), would you? If there's enough legitimate interest I'll roll up my sleeves and make this happen one way or another, which could very likely mean buying CDs at their shows in stacks, coming home, and mailing them out. Since I don't think I'll be able to make it out to another show of theirs until 11/26 (incidentally the next CD release date) there's some time to mull it over, count your spare change, whatever. I wanna show these guys the love from overseas; there's nothing in this for me but warm fuzzy feelings, and the fact that if there had been someone willing to do this back when MHLS was around I would have peed myself. That is all! What d'you think?
