Outside of Kamaitachi, the other bands are not in any order what so ever. Kamaitachi has pretty much been ruling the #1 spot for 8+ years, so I think it's going to take a lot to dethrone them. Kamaitachi Color Strawberry Fields BY-SEXUAL Baiser La'cryma Christi La'Mule Luna Sea D=OUT Irokui The bottom five artists often rotate in and out of my top 10 list with other artists that's not on the list, but this is what I've been digging a lot lately.

Nothing too interesting, mostly original pressings of old Western rock music. :\ The Pizzicato Five CD was still factory sealed even though it was in the used section of the record store I purchased it from.

I'm trying to get rid of a copy of Genkaku Allergy's Noise Allergy XXX. The only bad thing about the photobook is that it has major water damage from the person I originally bought it from. I have included pictures of some of the water damage below. It does not come with the slip cover or obi, but it does have the CD. Who ever wants this only needs to pay 5 USD to cover some of the shipping. Example of some of the water damage:

I had my max bid at 30k yen, but I was surprised that someone wanted it more badly than me.  XD  I've never seen Galaxy go more than 30k yen until this auction.

Whoah! I had no idea it commended such prices. Guess I need to step my game up! Not so fond of regular COLOR, but their bumbling attempts at 90:s house is somehow my kind of jam  :X'D:

I used to be a rabid Color fangirl a long time ago, so for the longest time I kept tabs on what the average asking/ending price on most of their merch when it pops up for auction.  Galaxy is the one of the rarest of the rare when it comes to early VK releases as it was a UK only release.  Other than demo tapes and the Sandbag Baby live house singles, this is the only Color release that goes for a crazy amount of money.

In recent years, I've warmed up to Color's odd attempt at house music, but I used to hate it back when I first heard it 10 years ago. XD

When I ordered it as I only have heard of BA RA VA LA out of the artists featured on the omnibus. After listening to it, I really enjoyed "Since 1990". It has a few gems on it for sure.

I can't remember exactly what band was my first band as that was almost 20 years ago (1999). XD I do remember the first VK songs I downloaded as it took me a couple of days with dial-up internet, which were: GLAY - Yuuwaku L'arc en Ciel - C'est La Vie Dir en grey - Cage La'cryma Christi - With-You Malice Mizer - Madrigal Luna Sea - I For You Ladies Room - Maniac Love Zi:Kill - I Love Cat Lareine - Metamorphose Baiser - Kuchizuke La'Mule - Inspire Out of that bunch of bands, I was super crazy into La'cryma Christi until Koji left the group.

As someone who is a Sludger, I choked on water for how true this statement is. It's rather sad the most interesting thing on Metal Sludge right now is the whole Bobby Blozter/Ratt lawsuit trainwreck. Otherwise, it's just a bunch of "Kiss is a crappy band", "How many version of Great White/L.A. Guns are there right now", "Warrant's Dog Eat Dog/Motley Crue's Motley Crue '94 are the most under-rated albums of all time", or "Steve Summers of Pretty Boy Floyd spam posting random crap no one cares about" threads. ---- For me, I never knew that many people who were into visual kei. My best friend in high school stills listen to VK, but she only follows The Gazette, Dir en grey, and A9 as all of the other bands she liked disbanded and she never got into other bands to replace those disbanded bands. My boyfriend only likes to listen to the late '90s/early 2000s VK bands when he is in the mood for visual kei, but sometimes likes newer bands once in a blue moon. He moved on to listening to Japanese alt. rock bands. All of my other friends that were into VK are still living the weeaboo life, but are into artists like Perfume, Babymetal, or AKB48 now. One of them is super into local/indie idols that that no one has ever heard of and probably only have 5 fans. TBH, I never got into visual kei bands to have something to talk to my friends about or to make friends, it was something I got into because I grew up listening to glam rock/glam metal bands and thought it was cool that there were bands that still wore heavy make-up/crazy outfits. As long as there are bands with crazy outfits and make-up, I will still follow it regardless if it's VK or some other glam rock sub-genre.

Nothing too special today. Just a bunch of older releases to fill the holes in my collection. I had to buy me another copy of Loudness' On the Prowl because someone broke into my car and stole my old USA pressing of the album about two months ago. A lot of GLAY DVDs. A bunch of Luna Sea CDs. Three EZO vinyl singles that were issued by Victor Invitation. My copies of Here It Comes are the Takahashi Taro and Yamada Masaki covers. I do believe there were covers released for this single that featured Iida Shoyo and Homma Hirotsugu, but I haven't seen them.

Newest release by D=OUT and Lycaon Initial'L. Plus the limited versions of the latest Morning Musume single. The packaging for the version of the Initial'L release I bought is so disappointing...

My copy of the recent Mejibray single finally got out of custom hell after two weeks. I ripped my poster while I was unrolling it. X.X

I got a new Jojo's Bizarre Adventure figure. :D Here's Narancia out of his box, posing in front of my BY-SEXUAL and Color VHS tapes.
  18. TBH, I really don't care for either bands. I only went with Anti Feminism because they sometimes still release new stuff once in a blue moon. I'm really surprised that a lot of VK fans didn't know that. One of the reasons why Kenzi hated the feminism image in VK is because when Kamaitachi went majory, Toy's Factory forced him to be the feminine character in Kamaitachi.

Outside of a Panic! at the Disco CD I bought during my "emo" phase of life, the only CDs I truly regret buying were Utada Hikaru's English albums (Exodus and This Is The One). I always thought they were complete garbage compare to her Japanese albums and I only bought them because I like supporting Japanese artists when they do release records in the USA.

Oh shit. I didn't know Chargeee was still around, the last I heard of him, he was in Omega Dripp. But that was like 8 years ago. I used to have a picture of him getting dry humped by KoREDS from Aura. XD I can't remember how I got that picture, but I want to say Chargeee sent it to me. From what I remember, Chargeee is a HUGE fan of Motley Crue and idolized Tommy Lee. I know Chargeee was also influenced by Hanoi Rocks, WASP, LA Guns, and Pretty Boy Floyd. I used to email him back when I was into Omega Dripp to talk about '80s hair bands and how cool it was that he was also into them. He was a blast to chat with.

  24. It was actually Morishige Juichi, the vocalist of ZIGGY, soloing the first cover, but close enough. I was talking about this the other day with my boyfriend how I was surprised that SHOXX was still around but Fool's Mate and Arena 37C went belly up. I've been subscribing to SHOXX for the past 2 years, so I'm really surprised about the announcement since usually they start scaling back all of the stuff they put in the magazines before going belly up. My latest issue of SHOXX is just as thick as my issue #4 that has Sceana on the cover and my issue that has the Zi:Kill x BY-SEXUAL on the cover. I would have thought CURE would be going out before SHOXX just from the magazine size and paper quality that CURE downsized in the past two years. SHOXX had a great 25 year run.
  25. I have listen to 9 out the 10 bands on this list at one time or another. However, I own at least one release from only four of these bands and only two of these bands I actually will claim I'm a fan of theirs. DIV is the only band on this list, including all of the groups in the top 50, I never heard of or listen to. I'm surprised there weren't a lot more newer bands in the top 20. Other than DIV as I have no opinion of them, I can say the top of the crop that were listed are some tight selections, even though I heavily dislike The Gazette.
