Boohoo I don't like this particular artist so I need to make sure everyone knows I'm not going. I'm excited he's coming back after 3 years, I just really hope they finish the fanclub mess before the tour :/

Eh in the context kotekote actually means over the top, but whatever it comes down to the same thing. I'm pretty damn sure that it's a japanese term, that's where I kept coming across it. And there really isn't such a thing as 'too elaborate' with kotekote, so basically what Hyura says.

    Ohh yay another Dutch date!

Wasn't sure either but since OP mentioned nagoya kei I figured I'd provide some vkei subgenres

    Going!

Not sure how correct this is, i'm not that great with genres and I'm not gonna pretend this is 100% correct but it's something, I've seen Japanese people label the bands you asked about as bellow (or at least the ones I know). But that's just for visual-kei subgenres and they're classified by looks, not by sound so if you're looking for proper genres this isn't gonna help but whatever. Kagrra - koteosa Alice Nine - koteosa Versailles - tanbi kei (or simply kotekote if you're not being too particular) Ayabie - koteosa Lycaon - koteosa but I guess they're now labeling themselves as "ero kei" whatever the fuck that means D'espairsray - koteosa or kobushi kei or both I'm not sure The GazettE - koteosa and now also kobushi kei Girugamesh - same as above DIR EN GREY - started as kotekote, then went on to kobushi and now they're "not visual anymore" Luna Sea, Glay etc - they don't really have a vkei subgenre I suppose because back when they first started there weren't any subgenres Grieva - kotekote Miyavi - kotekote in Dué le quartz and then I don't have a clue he just did whatever until coming up with Neo Visual kei and now he's not visual anymore. Rentrer en Soi - kotekote A lot of things can be labeled as koteosa as you can see, it's basically just a less extreme version of kotekote. Also Kobushi just refers to bands who don't want their fans to do all these lame dances and be cool and fist pump and headbang instead so I'm not even sure why it's a genre. Please correct me if I'm wrong tho. Also there's more genres but I'm also feeling lazy.

Haha cute but you kind of are. Osare is a joke term for oshare so yeah Nyasagi is right. Oshare means someone who's really stylish, osare means someone who thinks they're really stylish, but in fact they're not.

That was a different rumor not related to the pictures. Those pictures were posted on the girl's ameblo way before Paradeis' disband. http://tanukiwww.livejournal.com/5729.html

    Wouldn't be surprised

  12. Gizorz

Sure! I'll try to get to it when I have time
  13. Gizorz

Ah.. I'm kind of jealous. Have fun everyone who's going.
  14. Gizorz

Why would you spend over 15$ if it was gazette? It's still just a picture isn't it?
  15. Gizorz

They're not saying you háve to buy cheki, just that it's probably one of the best ways to actually support the band financially, and that if a band doesn't get support there's a big chance they'll disband. And I really don't get why people are crying scam over 500 yen. A lot of people are obviously willing to buy them. Oz cheki at their show in the Netherlands were 20 euro cuz the band borrowed the staff's camera and only had one pack of film (10 films), and they were sold FAST. Just because you wouldn't spend 500 yen on a photo doesn't mean it's a scam, it'll hold that value for some people. As for Mejibray cheki, while I think 20 euro is ridiculous for a photo, their cheki are really popular and get sold in seconds (save for meto).
