in the mood for sad japanese movies, like all my previous summers.

for old lj users, apparently there's this going on: http://jrock-wank.livejournal.com/58828.html

this song came on shuffle once and wow, how did i not fall in love with it back then.

Mostly familiar with vistlip, NoGoD, and MUCC from that list, but I'm wayyy behind on their releases. >_< 1. SCISSOR - 理想street 2. 北出菜奈 - 私は時限爆弾 3. Akira Yamaoka - Sickness Unto Foolish Death (Silent Hill 3) 4. Ruvie - Parfait 5. 朝倉紀行 - 夜明け (Tenchu 3) 6. Psysalia Psysalis Psyche - Lemon Pop 7. Guniw Tools - From the Inside 8. Clavier~クラビア~ - Love Story 9. cali≠gari - Yakouressha 10. Plastic Tree - エとセとラ This is a surprisingly good list. But once Plastic Tree came on it instantly took over everything. Definitely one of my favorite songs of theirs, and I remember listening to it a lot once their Dona Dona album came out. (Also, the cali≠gari song is in romaji because I haven't had time fixing their tags yet...)

^i'd love to see that too.

haha, that's okay and totally understandable! i think artists are always bound to change their style and try new things.
-
love the simple, yet expressive style! ^^

hurtbreak wonderland is a pretty good WEG album. after hearing farewell kingdom i pretty much thought the lie lay land was his only good album and gave up checking his other stuff.

haha, i've used rpg maker years ago too. xD it's especially neat when people make their own custom graphics. but yeah, i'd prefer sticking with concept arting. anyway, some old recent stuff that i haven't posted here yet.
-
thank youuu! i don't like working with too many colors so i always keep it minimal. i like your art too so i followed you back. ^^ honestly, i don't have much experience with game making, haha. but i love brainstorming ideas and concepts~

love the angle on the third one~! nice work, again!

err...i left out the important details. she got herself pregnant and is now forced to marry......it's a cultural custom. I agree! Siren Blood Curse has become one of my favorites now! I wasn't able to enjoy it back then because I didn't understand the complex storyline and I thought it was just a really weird game. But I do love the atmosphere and the creatures are creepy as hell. Very grotesque and twisted. I miss old survival horrors like those you mentioned, and it's a real shame that they don't make horror games like that anymore. Don't forget the Fatal Frame series and the early Resident Evil games too~

ohh, i really admire ayami kojima! i can sense some of her influences in your drawings, especially the dark feel and ancient/medieval concepts.

reading all this stuff about siren blood curse is sooo interesting! i'm able to appreciate the game more now. they made everything as realistic as possible, basing everything off of myths and real places (even most of the sound design was recorded live), i almost wanted to believe howard wright's blog was real too lol. the blog was created a year before the game's initial release in 2008, but i'm thinking that the developers planned that ahead of time before releasing the game. still, things like these that causes me to wonder is what i like about horror, whether they're fake or not. some people may easily say that it's all fake, but i don't care. i like to keep myself interested by questioning the plausibility.

i don't feel like visiting home today. i have to attend my cousin's wedding tomorrow who's almost 10 years younger than me and i'm still in my early twenties. i feel more sorry for her than being happy. maybe she had it coming, but still, tradition sucks. change of plans, the date is pushed back. yay
-
whoaa, nice~! i really love your style and coloring! are these all original? anyway, hope to see more soon~ ^^

she has a lovely voice. their actual music is much heavier though.

well, it seems like i've decided to start a baroque collection now. (old baroque at least) i never thought i'd see the VHS for sale so i kinda bought it on impulse when i saw it listed on rarezhut. and i bought everything else they had of baroque, which was the chaplin and sukebe boy single. these arrived last friday~ the sug life album was from an earlier purchase. (also i noticed that i missed the chance for a discount after finalizing my order, but oh well, small order anyway. you guys deserve the extra dollars for all your hard work!) i bought these baroque photobook/pamphlets from @anakuro (way back in march! i'm posting this really late i know, haha) and i got a free magazine featuring kei along with it (not pictured). these flyers came in free as well. (thanks again! ^^)

no prob! i love to give my own input~ it really is difficult to translate japanese when you have to move the words around, haha.
