From X Japan's Facebook: X JAPAN TOUR CONFIRMED During a press conference held in Tokyo on June 9th, X Japan members Toshl, Pata, and Heath, along with host Udo Artists, Inc., announced that the “X JAPAN WORLD TOUR 2017 WE ARE X” concerts in Japan at Osaka-jo Hall (July 11 and 12) and Yokohama Arena (July 14, 15, 16, and 17) will be performed as acoustic concerts. The title of the tour will be changed to “X JAPAN WORLD TOUR 2017 WE ARE X Acoustic Special Miracle 6 DAYS.” Although Yoshiki successfully underwent cervical artificial disk replacement surgery and has already started the rehabilitation process, doctors have instructed him to stay away from vigorous exercise for at least 6 months and he cannot play the drums for the time being. However, since Yoshiki does not want these scheduled concerts to be canceled due to his surgery, X Japan members explained during today’s press conference that these performances will continue as “acoustic” concerts, where Yoshiki will only play the piano. During the conference, there was also a phone call from Yoshiki, who is currently going through recovery in Los Angeles. After conveying his message of “I want to move forward. their solo careers have always been different from luna sea though, so I don't see how one could draw a conclusion on the new album based on what the members are doing on their own? they still produced lunacy when J was doing his weird punk-ish stuff, inoran doing his alternative-rock thingy, and ryuichi became a popidol for grandmoms. but yes, you shouldn't expect a new "mother" or "style" that's for sure.

It was announced last year but they were quite about it for some reason. Anyway, the setlist was cool af. Hurt, No pain, and Image are some cool surprises. Also hoping for a re-recording of IMAGE but I don't think it'll happen... Looking forward to the album eitherway. Only single I've been disappointed by so far is Ran, and their latest stuff (Limit/I'll stay with you) is some of the best songs they've released post-revival (especially I'll stay with you).
