this album is indeed softer than their other previous releases. But i find myself really enjoy this album, there is a ballad song that just not make it, maybe the lowest point of this album for me. But the rest was decent to awesome. I enjoyed their second/album promo single, it sounded so light and catchy. I wish Danchou to have a vocal courses next time he going to take mid tempo ballad, cos there's certain parts on some songs that he had to belt out high chords but wasn't executed properly. The verdict, this Major debut has set a good welcome from me. With their new name, without that Kanji stuffs, seems like trying to introduce a new light for this band. I enjoyed it, it's surprising but nice to hear a singing Danchou more than the screaming one. Will look forward to their next acts!

^ that song so popular back then. Anyone who have parents/family who live/was lived in Asia, ask ur mom, dad, aunts or uncle. I bet they familiar with this song when they were a teenager. I know my Dad did xD try to listen to it, and see how far you can appreciate old skool Japanese music in general (not just rock)

i liked Nujabes, i heard his works alot. But i am not going to call myself addicted to Japanese Music just yet. I still listening to many other language music and genres, besides Japanese music. For me music is just like the base, if music is a play doh, the musicians are the people who playing with play doh. Making it into many kind of shapes and colours. But it still a play doh. So any language and any race, music is music. Unique, maybe. I guess every music produced from around the world have their own unique points. It just how people appreciate the music itself. One people may impressed with one song, but the others may not. It's subjective, really.

maybe not just about music. But also about what kind of offer that the major label give out for them. Buck Tick before going major has been refusing tons of major label offer because they couldn't provide what they need. They asking for 4 things: ability to produce their album themselves, also that the label will never ask them to have a member change, they will able to make their own image and never forced to have additional musician when having live concert. Maybe situation different with ViViD. Maybe they agree to have a change and let their major work manufactured by producers? Maybe they agree to lose their visual image when going major? OR can be the opposites, maybe todays Major labels already learn how Visual image can attract sales and here comes ViViD that already doing major work since the first get go that are seen as potential gold mine by them?

to call him king, maybe a bit too farfetch. But he raps well. I liked him, i am proud to see a man that are not afraid to express his feeling in the most blatant way, sometimes so sad and emotional and some other times can sounds so cruel. His raps is clever, that's what i like from him. Honestly, i am not into too many rappers. Cos mostly only talking shit about nothing really. Only 3 rappers in this modern day that i acknowledge. One of them is Em. The other two is Jay-Z and Kanye. They never try to teach their listeners to do this and that by words, but inspiring them through clever lyrics and rhyming by telling their story and experiences that many of people can relate to and inspire many peoples to be better after listening to their songs. And btw, the 8 mile film was awesome, too. Heroic, in some other form.

c'mon, this is not a surprise isn't it? When i first listened to their music, they got major material.

i like their Jagannath and Visvasrit cds and from current works, only departure i can pretty much appreciate well. If they about growing further with the style on Departure, i may be hearing them more. I guess they'd get popular easier that way, though some fans may label them as sell out as the result, but if they growing up enough, they'd never hesitate to leave little number of listeners to get thousands more. As long as they go further with their music and avoid them from disbandment.

i think most of FF's SE and soundtracks are enjoyable. I always enjoy Kiroro song from FF 10 soundtrack. Means so much for me. And, original theme of zelda. Catchy lyrics, liked the SOAD version. Also Pac Man theme, all Rockman/Megaman SE, Tenchuu and Mario Bros theme.
