Overall, this cover album are very nicely done. Almost every song are enjoyable. Of course i say thing after listening to the album without or at least less any prejudice or compare it to the original. And trust me, it's not an easy work. And i say, almost, because there is one song that bugged me, that i listened to first as soon as i finished downloading That song is DeG's Schwein no Isu, Many time i have stated on many topic on many incarnation of this forum, that Schwein no Isu is the song that introduced me to VK. How it does made personal impact on me, and also to my Dad. The original sounds so chaotic, raw but this part that making it sounds special. While MERRY cover, i must say i am not very pleased with the result. To me,they are ruining a song that are special for me. It sounds very dull, overdubbed, and the way the vocalist singing it were so blah. like SERIOUSLY WHERE'S THE RAGE? He singing it like a teenager having his first live show on shitty live house. Crap. What the fuck are they doing? Lucky that the guitars are pretty decent, or else, i could hate them forever. Not my luck yet. OTOH, NoGod and D did a very well done job. It was so good that i wish 1/3 Junjou.. wasn't SIAM SHADE's. Seriously, i admires the way Danchou singing it, the way he did the high notes on some parts making the song less boring. and the double pedals on drums as some accents, too. Nice. with D, i like it how they're making it sounded more thicker. And less Baroque-ish. They making the song sounded more to Moi Dix Mois than Malice Mizer. It's nice, both song are champion on it's own. None are better. Man-Ou are also outstanding. I also enjoyed Mix Speaker's Inc. cover, It was nice. Sounds very twisted. Feels like in a dark amusement park or something. I am not really fond the vocal sound effects on some parts of the verses though. WOuld sounds much better without. LOST ASH and LOLITA23Q are also very good. It's not the first time STORM being covered, But this one sounded better than the one one Memorial Cover album by Nami Tamaki, at least. Lolita's version making my feet dances that having my forehead wrinkles because too much over produced technical bullshit etc, thatamaki's did, you know. Shit female singer that is not very outstanding at all. And the way Lolita's vocalist singing it, are emotionally similiar to Lunasea's. As if he talking with you, his lover, asking "tokimeki o sousa motome tsuzuke yo, do you like it rough? (If i'm with you, do you like it rough?)" and at the end asking "Kiss me, in the stormy..." very cool. :") For melty love, i enjoyed Shazna's better. The way it composed just more kicking than the cover version. And so does with Winter, Again, i enjoyed GLAY's better. Sounded more meaningful when it sang by the original vocalist. The rest are pretty mediocre-ish, it feels like, you know, that they didn't do their best shot for working a cover song. But this album at least, personally, did help set my heart back up again after being shatterred by 2 lame ass B-sides from LOTUS single. Not too shabby, made me feel nostalgic. 90s music is the best, for the most part. Since i grew up listening to 90s than anything else.

on that website, they're using either Java script or HTML for embedding frame onto the picture. If you wanna have the same effects but permanently, try edit it with Adobe Photoshop. use selection to pick the frame off of the template then Use transparency on the new page for the frame drag the selection, save it as png open the saved file and stack it on the picture you wanted. Voila! There you have it Good luck.

for me, the only problem with new version of OBSCURE is lack of emotions. Unlike the original that makes me feel connected to the song, the new version just void and bland. Just sounds like any metal band that doing rough music for the sake of it. I can't get the "feel" from this new version. I honestly feel the new version didn't even harder than original one. I didn't even feel to do headbang the way i did with the original one. Plus with Kyo singing "lalala" lines or something on new version, which is odd. Why would one do that kind of poppish thing in a metal song? It just unnecessary and silly. Making this track more absurd. And again, mediocre. This is the first song from them that had "the more you hear it, the more annoyed you get" effect on me. So far, only undecided that sounded quite alright as remake. For the most part, remakes just should be avoided. Especially to classics. Because 99% it will fail. It's like doing remake to The Excorcist or the first Star Wars Trilogy. It should never be done. Not that i don't like changes, but it could only disrespect the original version. Sometimes, something just should be left as it is. Very dissapointed, cos this is not what i wish after some 60 seconds teaser. Btw, can anyone confirm what minre said about one of ex ReS being the programmer?

^ there's review topic for this actually but, i must say i wanna bury obscure new ver. forever. Kyo didn't even say the lyrics right during "bloody baby & sacrifice" parts with the gutturals. Only pure gibberish. It's a shame really. With this, i hope they will never do filth, embryo or myaku, sajou no uta or whatever. I don't wish for them to rape more classics. It's enough with undecided, zan, and obscure!

^this. Plus makes me grow a hope for actual band reunite. I mean for more than 3 nights shows kind of reunite, y'know.

So, O.K here's my review: LOTUS When i first hearing the teaser and radio rip, i was like "OMG *facebook thumb.png*" And now after i heard the better bit rates rip of it, I like it even more. Very melodic, just what i wish them to do for awhile now. cuz srsly, unlike Hageshisa to.., where Kyo didn't do much efforts, all he did just sings on the chorus, and doing some gibberish on most part of the song. The only thing that good is the music. But in LOTUS, he really did his job as a vocalist. Make this song good on both departments, vocals and music. points: OBSCURE I must say, WTH did they do with the song?!! It's not obscure anymore, but seems the teaser I've found on nico douga is not fake after all. Musically, it's similiar sounding with ASoM. The aggressions and the way Kyo scream and sing. Makes me giggled irl how they ruins a good song into mediocre. What a pity. Points: Reiketsu Nariseba (LIVE) I don't really care for this track. Any LIVE CONCERT that recorded into a CD whoever sang it, is pointless. But i must give kudos how they manipulate the sounds to be stereo and minimize screams and squeals from the audience. points: OVERALL being not very outstanding single, except for the title track. makes me have to be fair with them, although they'll forever be a band i always have faith with. Production wise, no complaining, they're have the best studio to choose, They're superstar now, i'd be disappointed if they can't use their star power for making a better production for their music. All instruments can be heard clearly, so it's an awesome job. Given that, 2 1/2 meh's would do some justice.
