long songs, only will be good if it's composed throughly. or else it will sound so tiresome to hear. some good long songs often developed nicely, from intro, verse 1,2,3,4,5, coda, to outro. but some other that are bad having too much repetition, either the riffs, or chorus so it doesn't really enjoyable but sounded a 3 mins songs stretched into 10 mins. also i need to note that so many long songs having parts where riffs took 2-3 minutes. It needed lots of skills with the instruments, or else it will sounds really annoying. I don't find so many good long songs in VK. But there is some good numbers from J-rock or J-metal in general. some of my favourites, of course Vinushka, Ware, Yami Tote... and Macabre by DeG some other has been named, like Mutyumu. For Western, most of things that Dream Theater ever conceive is pure gold for me. Also, new favourite, Turisas - Miklagard Overture There is some more, but i forgotten. Will post more later.

i enjoyed this, it's different, it reminds me with either Lucky Luke or some gay porn back sound with that harmonica lol Maybe just not the right person who sing it, it would have more soul with the right country singer. Musically, it's sounds good. Since gaga admitted on the google interview that she was writing all her songs, including upcoming BTW album with piano first before she turns it into dance music or anything else.

There is some songs and singles that I have never remove once i am transferred it into my mobile device, and when i am having new iPod or cell, i certainly will transfer these to my new gadget, even if i haven't listened to it for sometimes now. It is on "unremovable" status cos there is always sudden urge to listen to any of songs in this list, often after i hum it at a random time. These are (mixed Western and Asian/Japanese, despite it is posted in J-rock topic): - Dir en Grey (myaku and filth) - Moi Dix Mois (solitude, ,) - Malice Mizer (colour me blood red, gardenia, garnet) - Fact - Merry Xmas Mr.Lawrence - Lunasea (period album) - L'Arc (honey) - judy & mary (sanpomichi) - gackt - metamorphoze - Ayumi Hamasaki (A Ballad album) - Utada Hikaru (can you keep a secret? automatic, deep river album, boku wa kuma, something with gold lol forgot the title) - Suede (she's in fashion) - Placebo (nancy boy, protege moi, running up that hill) - Lady Gaga (paparazzi, love game, bad romance) - Britney Please (me against the music, toxic, circus, womanizer, that song with "it's britney bitch" intro) - Madonna (justify my love, miles away, sorry, paradise, ray of light, celebration) - coldplay (God put a smile upon my face, til kingdom come, don't panic, viva la vida) - keane (their two first album) - bloc party (silent alarm and silent alarm remix album) - gorillaz (rock the house, m1a1, slow country, green world, latin simone) - whitney houston (i'm every woman, heartbreak hotel, my love is your love) - macy gray (i try, she ain't right for you, that two songs i forgot lol) - Bep (mas que nada, let get it started) and - lauryn hill - the miseducation of Lauryn Hill album

released! jmR5Aat11P8 it does have country tinge, the guitar and harmonica i mean. overall, it's toned down than the album techno dance version.
-
it might not be the avant garde we think it is though. Anyway, later today she will release Born This Way country road version on twitter. I wonder what it is, acoustic or stripped down version?

wow, i never know that they're thinking about the concept throughly like that before! Looking at it, it does looks resemblance with symbol on MONSTERS and the singles in that era. I am glad that i ask. Neat concept.

On her latest interview with google the other days, she had talked a lot of things, and some of them were about Judas and her upcoming album. And somethings that revealed are: Edge of glory was made for her late grandpa that died 5 months ago and she and her dad haven't get the chance to say final good bye, and was talking about death. She will debuting as co-director in Judas video with Lorreane Gibson. And there will be biblical references/symbolism. The song is about "honoring your darkness in order to bring yourself into the light" and was inspired by her experience feeling haunted by her past for a very long time. Was about "you have to learn to forgive yourself in oder to move on" also inspired by one of the best advice that she ever receive and she always repeats every single day that sounds "if you don't have any shadows, you're not standing in the light." She mentioned her new album as "Avant Garde Techno Rock", there is so many rock influence though not in "this is rock album/record" kind of way, mentioned Def Leppard and admitting that she is a huge fan (obsessed) with Bruce Springteen thanks to her father who were a blue collar American which most of Springteens lyrics are about. And were also listening to so many rock/punk rock music when she was younger. The recurring theme for the album is about identity. And wanting to re-create the non digital fan experience that she had when she was buying her first Greenday CD signed and when she was having autograph from Thom Yorke of Radiohead. Oh, she also said Rebecca Black (with her idea to let her music heard through youtube) is brilliant. And the youtube video about a boy that just come back from the dentist and goes "is this real life?" is her favourite youtube video that she watched over and over.

Actually, no. Just know about this when reading this topic. Usually only listens music depends on my mood. Something usual but i am wondering some britpop like SUEDE would feel so good for Spring. While something more cheerful and festive like Conga by Gloria Estefan or Burdnt Jam/Season In The Sun by Weezer or Vacation by Vitamin C (lol pokemon movie soundtrack is the best) will sounds fit for Summer, holiday vacation time!
