Wow! Good setlist! Looking forward to it. I used to love them back in the days. :>

He's approaching his 30s, maybe he should drop the nose band. Other than that... Yeah, their new releases have been pretty generic altogether, but not terrible, and definitely listenable/enjoyable. At least to me. Looking forward to their album anyway. Maybe they come up with something new.

Funny. DNR (Italy) and Seremedy (Sweden) have also been added to the lineup.
-
The previews sound pretty underwhelming for the most part...

I didn't have any problems with downtime today. Also, yes, I can see why it's annoying to get all these invites when you don't want to play it.
-
I'm also playing, it's really fun. Getting Simoleons is quite tedious, though.

Yeah, this is really damn random. Didn't see that coming. Session band looks promising, though!

I don't know about that, I bet most just did it because Sugizo did it first and they're all a bunch of fanboys lol. Since I grew up in a village with a TON of neo-nazis, I am pretty sure that most of them didn't really know what happened back then (or they just deny it, dunno) - I talked to a few of them, and they were really damn unsure about what they said. Some of them even said the Holocaust was a fake, and that really, really shocked me. That's why I said that most bands utilising that image know more about it than a great deal of neo-nazis here in Germany, at least when it comes to those in rural areas. It's weird to encounter people like that, when you're a well-educated person and have to listen to their braintastic diarrhea for about half an hour. It drives you mad, haha.

Oh shit, he's gotten a bit chubby, hahaha. Looks like a legit beer belly.

Sure, it might offend some people, but I think when VK bands choose that look, they mainly use it for some kind of visual storytelling. In that case, it doesn't really matter to me. The nazi party did have rather good-looking uniforms, after all. I only really come to dislike it once they put some political message into it all, which would be a ridiculous move. As much as I dislike fascism and the nazi party itself, nowadays it doesn't have as big of an impact as in the 20th century. As many of you stated already, it's been overused quite a bit in the 80's and 90's. The really sad part about it all, though, is the fact, that the current generation of neo-nazis doesn't have the slightest idea of what really happened back then. I know that, since I live in Germany and I have to deal with these retards rather often, to say the least. Also, I'm very sure that most Japanese nazi-image VK bands have a lot more historical knowledge about it than most neo nazis over here. Sounds illogical, but it's just like that. Bah, my head doesn't work properly right now. Excuse me if I'm being a bit unclear.

I thought it was a rather well-balanced single, catering to more than just one taste. This is a rather good sign for a 4-track single. Some tracks stood out more than others, and I actually enjoyed La gueule de bois quite a bit (unlike most people, it seems). Yumehito can sing very well and consistant, and they all tried something that sounds different to their main project. I'm satisfied so far. Let's see how far they can go, as there is always room for improvement.

Am I the only one who noticed that Yamada (Yumehito) sounds very much like LAER in the lower ranges?

Holy creampie, I didn't think this band could get even worse after EROS. This single is really damn awful.
-
Yeah, sadly that's only few odd songs that pop up every third or fourth release and are listenable. But yeah, I also suspected that their schedule is the main reason for this awful decline. No wonder they are barely able to do anything good when they're touring all the time and trying to push a new release out of their asses every 3 or 4 months. EDIT: And if they aren't actually outsourcing random songwriters, I'll stick a broom stick into my butt

I apologize. Didn't mean to be rude. Just a fact, though: Looks like she has only been taking hormones up to now (judging from the information the page offers), no full transition, yet.

http://www.boys-girl.com/lady/lady_01.p ... =752580903 "She" has got tits. Apparently, Yuuri indeed become a trans. It's pretty obvious. But it still kind of baffles me, haha.

Reon was pretty good at keeping up with the odd time measure changes in most of the songs. But hey, I really like Naruka, let's see how well he fits in.

V-last are pretty awful. The only one in there doing a half-decent job is Shyena. SuG are pretty much the other way around: The instrumentals are rather decent, yet the vocals are terrible. But both bands have a thing in common: Uninspired, generic and totally diarrhea-licious compositions. Though I must say that Takeru is probably the worst songwriter in modern VK...

I've written songs for a variety of tunings... Regular, halfstep down, Drop D/C/B, and seven string regular tuning. In the end it doesn't really matter. You just need to know what tuning fits best for the song you want to play or compose. As a bassist though, I didn't develop a liking to Drop A, yet, though. But maybe my band doesn't really need that, anyway.

Seriously, I just HAVE to ditto that. Guess we're not made for that kind of stuff.

When it comes to this album, I'm rather sad considering the final product. There are so many good parts that sound just like they weren't finished at all. I wasn't expecting that much. I've been listening to it two times by now, and I have to say, it's a lot more tolerable to my ears now. Still, it's nothing I'd listen to on a casual basis. Seriously, I can't put it anywhere. It's so hard to rate it. When it comes to my personal preferences and opinion, I gotta say it's just way too chaotic, and almost devoid of any hooks. To me, it sounds like a huge mess of... SOMETHING. Kyo seems to ruin a number of songs with his out-of-context vocal lines. Instrumentally, to be honest, it's pretty good. But sadly, the only song I could rather get attached to is VANITAS for its conventionality and good execution. But, I have to admit, at least they tried to experiment... Though I can't really say that they succeeded in my ears. If they did away with all these wannabe-hard-chaotic-whatever-parts, the album would be shorter by a good deal. And seriously, I'd appreciate that. It's just too long. Too much noise, a ton of disharmonies that just hurt my ears. I am sure that it would be better if they cut out all these random parts! Seriously, most songs have nice parts. But they are just being ruined by "bad-ass" parts that don't really make any sense. I'm rather happy though, that this album is a lot more inventive and interesting than MoAB, which I found to be incredibly annoying. So, what kind of rating should I give? I seriously don't know. This album is just SO DAMN WEIRD and inconventional that I can't really put a finger on it. But taking my personal feelings into account, it'd probably get a 4/10. It's not thorougly horrible, and it's not thorougly good. But these random shred parts really turn me off. But obviously everybody gets a different notion from listening to it, so I advise people to actually do the exact same thing. Maybe they like it a lot more than I do, and maybe they dislike it a lot more than I do. In the end it's a matter of taste. I gotta say though, the bass lines are really good, as well as the production/mixing. The arrangement is just not my cup of tea, sadly. But I'm sure this album is gonna polarise like hell.

Seriously, Danchou needs that makeup. He's not very pleasing to look at, otherwise, haha. It's good that they at least keep their look like this, since it was pretty unique to begin with.
-
I don't know why, and I am probably alone with my opinion, but the only song out of all the samples that sounded good to me (!) was Juuyoku. Guess their direction isn't really my cup of tea anymore. I loved Macabre, even some of the later albums were good, but I really didn't like TMoaB. Then they released OUROBOROS which I found to be a lot better than their previous effort. Ah well, I'll just wait until DSS is out and see how much I like the full songs. Just hope they have a few surprises up their sleeves, since they've been getting rather proggy lately.

She has a nasty pimple below her right eye. But I love her autotune'd vocal chords
