That's very cool and glad they're still going at it!!

So true. I loved RES so much. Now Satsuki's going on about crystals and shit all the time all while floating to the moon.

You should have slapped him in the face. Too bad I met him before he promised and started multiple projects and ended up doing nothing for over a decade... otherwise I'd backhand that clown.
  4. The Libertine

how does this fool have any fans left?
  5. The Libertine

i dont know tokyo's so welll. but even big bands play small venues sometimes where I live (and i personally love it!).

wine, tequila, whiskey, brandy/cognac, shochu. Mostly my drinks of choice. I don't like sweet things in general so I just like my liquor iced, watered, tea-d down : ) Gotta watch my fine figure when I'm knocking back these biatches.

eh, kinda feel Japanese are the worst of the East Asian dramas but there's some good ones of course that come to mind right now--- I enjoyed a lot: hana kimi (really funny!!) ryuusei no kizuna (good mystery, family drama) zettai kareshi (corny but really endearing) 1litre no namida good (but flawed): hana yori dango (korean and taiwanese versions (and boys) are better) hotaru no hikari (enjoyable but the actions of the characters is frustrating) nobuta wo produce (good concept, story went nowhere) gokusen (worth watching but repetitive! Don't go beyond season 1) nodame cantabile (again, great start but didn't progress well for me yamato nadeshiko shichi henge- I thought I was gonna hate this one, but enjoyed it a lot. Silly but good message and kept me interested

just gotta give some love to the willam and detox icons up in here. And ps: those aps are what you make of them really. There's so much shit on there but good people too, just use your personal judgement and sense yo.

looking forward to these few months. I don't care if its consecutive singles or an album, as long as I get a plethora of new songs!

ya, love this manic stuff. Can't wait for next tour

agree with comments above. MONSTERS was a great album for how fun it was and how well the songs worked live. Redeemer had some great tracks amongst their best, just a few filler boring tracks as well that weighed it down. MIRROR will always be my favorite and coll:set really is one of those perfect raw VK albums.

the standard incredibly short and (completely random section?) Deg preview.. but the style of song pleases me and is what I'd want TBH!
  16. The Libertine

A good and pleasant listening with some whimsical melodies and instrumentals, but nothing too memorable or ground-breaking. Better and more creative than their latest material at least!
  17. The Libertine

bible was decent, but their last albums have not been good enough to justify releasing 2 albums at once now... really hope these don't suck. Quality always over quantity.. But could be great I guess
  18. The Libertine

Shouso Strip is one of my favorite albums ever.. KZK is also really fantastic.. and said before her solo songs are a bit closer to the heart despite TJ also being excellent with other great talents in the band. So.. solo SR wins!
  19. The Libertine

mind is blown... Ryuichi from LS included in a bad vocalist list.. that should be made illegal for musical blasphemy!
  20. The Libertine

    this! so much!!

hmmm.. I live in Japan and this is quite concerning. But I doubt it will touch youtube much in the end. However it might be the end of some of the CD rental stores and illegal downloaders might be punished quite heavily from now on.. >_
  22. The Libertine

my thoughts exactly. Gazette has interesting songs, but hardly ever an album I'm really impressed with (save DIM). Deg always manages to impress me somehow!

I didn't realize it was such a huge number of people (at least the ones who completely abandoned japanese rock/look down on it now). I still listen to a lot of Japanese music. TBH Korean music to me is mostly BIG BANG and 2NE1 which have become two of my most favorite and listened to groups. Other than them though most kpop and visual kei isn't that different in terms of originality and innovation. I like kpop because I like electronic, RB, dance music just as much as folk, heavy rock, classical, etc. I need to get my dance on with some heavy beats. Also, anyone who tries to deny that they used to like VK or pretends kpop is more superior and complex is an idiot.
  24. The Libertine

I hope all your favorite bands don't disband and get out ok, but I'm quite happy the label is no more. Though it's too much wishful thinking that Kisaki will stay away from music. : /
