edit: my house is about 2-3 miles from some train tracks; around the evening you can hear the train's horn fairly loud even from this distance. other than the volume, the noise sounds exactly like some of the sounds from the video gin posted.

senedjem recommended me two great albums in accordance to two of their many vocalists. same name, really different styles.

shuuji - 第5実験室 (Dai 5 jikkenshitsu)

shuuji ishii - 第7実験室 (Dai 7 jikkenshitsu)

i completely fell in love with Dai 7 and i grew fond of shuuji ishii's style, so i gave ブルーフィルム (Blue Film) a try as that was caligari's first release with shuuji ishii as their vocalist.

anyway, just give Dai 5 & 7 a try!!

first half of the album, up to aiai, is perfect and crazy and i love it!! second half of the album isn't as strong (probably because their was only one new song), but i still really enjoyed tracks 8 and 11.

i'll only really be revisiting 7 of these songs (only 5 of which are new) so if i had to give it a numerical score it'd be 7/10. its a good album and the excellent first half should be enough for anyone to give the album a listen~

Also, this reminds me that I've been putting off listening to Baton Rouge's album for a loooooong time. Gotta get around to finally giving that album a spin, because I've heard nothing but good things about it.

Anyway, I really liked the preview song for Stateless' Matlida (and couple others), definitely gonna give that a try soon!
