Although I have to agree that some recent Nocturnal Bloodlust stuff sounds generic, their live-distributed single 銃創 (released in June) sounds different or at least different than their recent stuff. On top of that Nocturnal Bloodlust's lives aren't typically VKish either (there's mosh pits, more foreigners than usual), not only Japanese girls headbanging their heads back and forth. But back to Deviloof, hopefully they'll be good. If they turn out like D.I.D or Nocturnal Bloodlust i wouldn't be that mad.

So basically another Nocturnal Bloodlust in the making, but with a less talented guitarist. I'll keep this band on my radar.

Probably my favorite release from them. All three songs are just phenomenal, especially justitia.

I like this song better than UNDEADHOUSE.

At this moment I can only recall「便所」having it's Kiryu-ish moments (especially towards the end of the song). But throughout the mini album there were instances that it reminded me a bit of Kiryu's first songs. But like I said it might have just been me.

Good review! I instantly fell in love with Takadanobaba Alien (cause that's a station I take everyday). Some parts of this mini-album reminded me of Kiryu, it might just be me though...Nothing too bad but not too great either.
