London tonight. Hope it'll be a good show.

Random dude is not so random. He's SPEED's new member and they're having a comeback this week! Might just be me but I've been bored with pretty much everything these days. Hyunseung's solo was nice. BTS's comeback too. Apart from those I'm not feeling any.

If we talk guilty pleasures I'm all there with Ao Haru Ride. For the most part.
-
I've only watched two out of three Kekkai Sensen episodes so far but I have to agree with Saku. That first episode was done really well. I've been finishing series here and there which had been recommended to me and the latest one has been Kimi ni Todoke. Both the first and second season. Why am I doing this to myself? I don't care one bit for romance stories (Unless you let me be shallow for a bit and have Sakurai (Kyoya in Ookami Shoujo) or Kaji (Kou in Ao Haru Ride) voicing the bratty lead boys) Either way, they were decent for what they are and I can somewhat see why so many people love it. So many facepalm worthy moments though. So many. Also finally watching more Toaru Majutsu no Index and Phi Brain's second season next to all the currently airing ones. I feel I'm trying to find my way in an ocean of wrecks with little worthy lifeboats sometimes though.

Wah, can't wait.

Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru. surprised me tbh. I really liked it. Hikigaya's a fun character.
-
So... Shirou and those two blades alone are enough for me to anticipate what else this second part of UBW will bring. Apart from that I haven't been very hyped for anything yet. I guess Kekkai Sensen was fun. Waiting for second episodes of most others.

I didn't misunderstand. I really meant what I said as in "He's 12 at the start. Whether he looks a boy or a girl doesn't really say much. It might change as he becomes older in the series." That doesn't mean I don't agree with you though.

Maybe we'll figure it out in a few episodes. Also, the kid's 12-14, he looks his age at least.
-
It's 26 in total, but everyone's confused whether it's going to be split cour or one whole.
-
Considering the first season was extended for half a year at some point, I doubt there's already a certainty of how many episodes this one will get. I'd guess it'll get anywhere between 26 and 52 episodes, but if the story picks up again, it could really be anything. The manga has just been on a break for a while and they're heading into the second year, getting new first years and such. It's not ending any time soon. (Though I do think this "year" will be the last one. There will be no meaning to Daiya if they can't win Koshien with the battery that is Eijun/Miyuki. That's what the whole thing started with anyway.)

It's because technically it is a puzzle, isn't it? This season adapted volumes 4-6 of the light novels, and the first season did 1-3. There's another 7 volumes to be adapted in the next two seasons, and the second arc of the light novels (which is a year after the first arc I believe) is already on its 3rd (?) volume. (which means another potential anime adaptation in the works if they feel like it) Can't wait for the January season ._. it's going to be good. ----- Finished Garo and Diamond no Ace last night. Garo ended up being better than expected. Nothing too great or special, but a fun watch I guess. Daiya is just like any other sportsanime (without superhero powers and attacks). If you like it you'll continue to watch it, if you don't care for the sports-type ones, then don't bother. I really liked it, and Eijun's really grown on me as a main character. I'm kind of ready for the next season but I'm also kind of not because I know what's going to happen.

Parasyte is an awesome series that did lots of things right in ways other series wouldn't even dare to thread on. I've never read the manga, but I'm tempted to give it a go after all. That's about all I have to say. Now on to finish all these other things because I'm way too behind.

I'm still in disbelief Soukyuu 2015 is an actual thing even though I'm watching said thing. I am not ready for the inevitable end though
-
The Haikyuu OVA was too adorable. Really can't wait for the second season of the main series ._.
-
Not going to say it's a hidden gem. It has too many flaws in my opinion (+ ridiculous moments that still make me go ????) BUT... I do have to agree that the more I've been watching of it, the more I've been stuck to it. I'm totally all here for bb Leon. (Even when he sounded like a depressed Oikawa before)
-
Yeah, I expect a split cour at least. I can kind of understand it though. This series hasn't had a running season in 10 years. Splitting it would mean they have another three months to gather interest for the second part. And same here! I really like the whole Soukyuu universe even though it's a mess and one of the most depressing mecha series I've ever watched but... I like it!
-
If this isn't a mistake and it's going to be 1 cour for real, another one will be up for sure. Soukyuu is slow. One cour isn't going to tell the whole story, and it was always said it was going to have 25 episodes anyway :/

I actually understand where you're coming from, and I agree on the bullying part. The fact that he accepts it comes forth from the way he's grown up, I'm sure. Though he hates how his mom acted towards him, he still blames himself for things. I think rather than accepting everything it's just more of a feeling that he needs to. Tsubaki annoys the hell out of me, and Kaori's working for selfish reasons (as you'll learn later). Kaori's character fits with what this story is ultimately about though, seeing as it's nothing but Kousei's struggle into learning how to hear music again and detaching himself from the ghost of his mother and his past as a prodigy. Finding all the reasons and small bits that made him lose his feeling as a whole. People needing drama to overcome another drama isn't odd either. All in all I'm really enjoying this series and it's a definite 9 for me. It's just done really well. We also can't really forget these kids are still middle school kids. The people who should put an end to what is (borderline) bullying aren't necessarily the kids themselves but the adults looking out for them. Not everyone realizes it's wrong when they're still that age (even though they should). The series should have had an additional storyline touching that, which it sadly doesn't have. Code Geass is one of the most boring series I've ever watched and I'm still really confused as to why everyone loves it so much.

Everything about Shigatsu is done so incredibly well that I'm just in awe the whole time ._. Can I ask what it is you don't like about it? I'm curious!
-
I personally don't really care about spoilers and I know most of the Soukyuu crew won't survive (in good old Soukyuu fashion) but I'm sure that better gets a spoiler tag, don't you think?

Wow, I've seen them 4 times since 2007, and every single time I've had to try not to end up with too many bruises from all the guys in the pit/moshes/whatever else they come up with. The first time might have been a transition between the VK fangirls and the *core fans in which I remember a VK girl staring us down so hard because we'd accidentally touched her as the guys behind us were being too rowdy, but the other times were pretty much regular gigs. A gig where there is no movement wouldn't be a gig for me tbh.
-
Well, I haven't found a specific place where it's confirmed to be one cour. Also, the first season adapted 3 novels. There's 13 in total and the next three seasons should cover the other 10. So It's kind of weird they'd cover 3 novels in 13 episodes. Either way, we're in for a ride. I spoiled myself too much during the wait for the novels to be translated and I'm already hyped up to see all the things happen in animated form!
-
I am so hyped for further DRRR episodes it's not even normal. I'm still wondering whether the seasons will all be double cour instead of single, because if it's double that's a year and a half of non-stop DRRR right there. (the ending of it all is going to be so good ._. so so good ._.)

Going to the Saturday one in London apparently. Just need to find a way to get the tickets ._.
