Back to their darker music, a time where their songs were actually good, yes please. Those songs have are still on my playlist today. Oh and another "Music" album.... Heres my answer to that I saw them live during their "crazy crazy crazy" tour and I must say that Music was a really good album live. So I'd rather have them do that if they want anything with a bit of electro and poppy influences, than whatever they did with Now and Go. They'll never go back to dark stuff, maybe a bit heavier or rougher, yeah... They've been hanging around a lot with bands like Roach, SiM, Coldrain, Man With a Mission, even ONE OK ROCK. If that's any indication of what's to come, I wouldn't necessarily mind.

I think they've pretty much had a consistent amount of sales, but it's not much. They're still indie after all and not that many VK/Japanese rock groups like them sell much or get into Oricon. I should look it up one day... I'm glad they'll finally release something new and considering the groups they've been hanging out with lately, I hope they've switched up their style a little bit. Satoshi's a great vocalist, especially live, but they need their raw edge back. Their last album was too bland because it was overly produced. They shouldn't get back to their "dark" style and just do whatever they like, but they need something to make it more interesting. I'd rather have another "Music" than any of the latest two albums. GO was the worst they ever did in my opinion.

There is already a music video with Akito though. 6pNrm31YvUo

EXO and BAP can't really be compared in my opinion. Their styles differ too much. About the dancing thing for K and singing for M, I don't really agree. The better dancers are at M. They have 4 (Tao, Luhan, Lay and Xiumin while even Kris is supposed to be a bboy) and K only has Sehun and Kai. M also has three all round members, and two great rappers. K has two vocalists, two dancers, one great rapper and then a leader I always forget that's there. Even though I like both minis and I don't really have a preference, M is where the talent is for me. For instance, I love "Two Moons" in Korean. But I can't help but feel the quality of the song was pulled down because they let the youngest ones "rap" while they actually can't really rap compared to Chanyeol who's easily the best rapper SM has ever put out. The contrast between the three of them is just too big. Can't wait to see what they'll come up with next but I feel like there's a too big difference between K and M. In K you see performances that aren't live most of the times, while with M they're giving you time closer to them so you can get to know them. The rumor about M and K joining as EXO for Japanese promotions amuses me though.

Check bestfiction. They have it now.

Still waiting for anything they release to be honest. Though Burn it Down is just a mix and match of everything they've already released before. It's nothing new or special. I loved A Thousand Suns and Minutes to Midnight each in their own way, but yes, nothing is better than Hybrid Theory and Meteora. Let's just see what the other tracks on the Living Things will sound like.

^pretty much what Sai said. MV was visually great, but if you look past that, it's a mess. Song is nice until the chorus ruins it for me.

And yep, they did. Why do they keep on cutting out Yume Yume?

Article I wrote on didn't have that. I think people are just assuming things. If they don't kick out anyone now, I'm sure it'll be whenever they come back again. If they don't kick out anyone now, I see it as some "last chance". Article I worked on specifically mentioned "attitude problems", which for me, is a straight reference to Jiyeon.

^it wasn't revealed yet if there will be 2 new members or more. It's just been said they'll be changing to a 9 member group. They could kick out and add any number of members they want :s really :s

^following the same opinion...

I interviewed them once a few years back and they're a bunch of special guys... Loved every second of it. It's strange to think I'm nearly as old as they are though, and that they've been around for such a long time. I usually don't like their type of music, but I can't help but like them :s

I must be one of the only "fans" liking every single album then, right? I've seen them live 4 times now, and I must say that the Dozing Green tour in Paris in 2007 was still the best one. London 2010 as well. I knew them when they released Vulgar. Got to know them better through Withering and got totally into them through Marrow. I love Gauze and Macabre as well, and I don't think Uroboros or Dum Spiro Spero are bad. They're all different, and that's what I like about them. Different, but still Dir en grey (to me at least). I personally don't think they're actually able to get any heavier, but instead I can see them experiment with different music styles again. Throwing in a variety of things. (Though I assume I'm also one of the single people that prefers the Symphonic ver. of Amon above the other one :s) To be honest, I don't get the hate. Bands change, and they change because they want to. To expect Dir en grey to go back to VK or "dress nicely" again. Not going to happen. They're not VK anymore, and I'm pretty glad they're not. What's so bad about jeans and shirts anyway? /ends own opinion

Came from TW aswell and yes, the "hiatus" is all too familiar. Welcome back then!

Thought something like that. It didn't make any sense.

I wouldn't think it's strange for Jiyeon to leave. I mean, the girl is obviously much more interested in her acting career. It's the same reason I wouldn't be surprised if Eunjung leaves. They both have another career to take care off. That said, Eunjung isn't as lazy as Jiyeon looks most of the times. Boram is cute, and I don't think they can help it if they get enough lines or not. Boram has done musicals before, so I'm pretty sure she could go further in that. Hwayoung is new and indeed could go any way, but I think she's much more fun than some of the other members. She doesn't look too lazy in my opinion either. Her twin is far worse. I'm guessing at Jiyeon and Boram, though I really don't want to see Boram leave.

Hope they don't cut Yume Yume this time. I might actually buy this for real! They've become so good over the years.

Oh, alright... Well at least they have a fixed drummer now :s

Disliked every song I heard until I got at Daesung's song... Love that one... Going to check the Fantastic Baby one now because I remembered I forgot
-
It's a day for each album, and the other days are random "band-switches-member", "battle of the bands", "..." things... The last days is a "Tokyo Sadistic" live in which I assume they'll play a mixed setlist from all of their songs, as well as new things. Wouldn't even be surprised if they reveal a new album or single to be released!
-
It's a bit odd that ONE OK ROCK will be doing Smells Like Teen Spirit seeing as MAN WITH A MISSION already did that one for their latest mini album. Love both groups so I'm expecting much! SiM as well!

I can't stand people like that... Anyway welcome, hope you have a nice time here and I think you'll like it. Most of us are very nice and I don't think you'll find that elitism here. ^Pretty much this Anyway, welcome!
