Battle Royale Again... I love this book.

Speaks my mother tongue

Waiting for this, really I think that this year I'll have two additions to my favorite bands. So anticipating Block B's new mini and B.A.P's debut
-
On CD they might sound better than Craig ever did, but Craig is a much better live performer than Beau. Never saw Blessthefall live with Craig though, but I did see him with Escape the Fate. What he did there, even though I don't like most of their tracks, was much more entertaining than anything Blessthefall did when I went to see them. The new songs were good, but they all sounded the same. And the songs I liked from the first CD were kind of butchered because Beau couldn't sing them well enough. His Last Walk will forever remain my favorite album by them. Though I liked most of their second one, and did give Beau a chance, their third was simply too boring for me :s Btw, you did pick my favorite songs of both eras... hahaha

My best experience was with the Girugamesh fans at a gig in London. Everyone was happily skipping and dancing around. No yelling, no crazy fangirls (at least not as much as with Dir en grey), no one annoyed by anyone else. Everyone just having fun. I think it must be the most peaceful gig I've ever been to haha

Haha, awesome btw, I nearly picked the same hairstyle as that is how I end up doing it most of the times. It's long in front, then a ponytail in the back hahaha
-
I'm pretty sure only mods can do that
-
Kid should be slapped... Though I can only take dubstep whenever it's mixed with something else. Korn's Get Up isn't bad. Enter Shikari are the best though.

^this... If someone says Melk, just say it's dutch/flemish hahaha...

^ Pretty much one of the best Kpop goes Jpop debuts ever imo...
-
^Baby Soul's single was gorgeous to be honest. Feel like she'll be wasting her talent in a girl group...

Forgot to add that I absolutely don't see the big and overwhelming fabulousness of Hyuna's solo. Bubbly Pop is one of the worst songs I every heard :s I don't get the hype at all. I'd rather have Trouble Maker then. Or Hyuna's first song.

For best new group I'd definitely vote for Block B, much like Jigsaw here. Catchy, and not your typical "kpop" either. I refuse to have them labeled as an idol group as well just simply because they aren't. Much alike that new upcoming one B.A.P (Yongguk/Himchan/Zelo). Phantom also sounded really good, but again, they're not as much idol or kpop anyway. I haven't really been impressed with many releases this year apart from Infinite's release spam (these kids are going to drop dead one day). I really loved BTD, and even after a year I'm still addicted. I guess that for me, they overall did the best through the whole year as well as that they seemed to be the only group to put out consistent releases. Apart from that I'm really anticipating Yongguk's group to debut soon. His collaborations with Secret's Jieun and Beast's Yoseob were incredible. Can't say I like any of the girl rookies of this year. They all just sound and look the same as the others. Nothing's original anymore :s Though I don't like A Pink, I am amazed by their success. They found their niche and I'm pretty such that Cube and A Cube will turn out to be even more awesome than they already are. I've been burying myself with indie korean rock releases for the most part in the past year anyway, and most kpop didn't actually sound that great. I even have to admit that most of my favorite groups disappointed me with their releases :s I'm all up for this new trend of groupmembers (co-)writing their own things though. Block B, Yongguk, even B1A4 took part in composing! I admire that extra work they put in, rather than just come on stage and do whatever their company tells them to.

I believe they still mix up stuff. Unless it's an album tour, then I suppose most is of the album. I saw them on the Crazy Crazy Crazy tour so I pretty much got a mix of everything. You should listen to Now, it's a lot better than GO in my opinion. GO was too generic and clean :s
-
^I'd love to see them live again, and I wouldn't even be too bothered having to listen to "NOW". Live, everything sounds different anyway and I'm sure it'll be a party. I'm wondering what sound they'll be going for next though. I wouldn't mind if they'd take up their sound and add a little roughness to the full product. They want to get more popular by doing pop rock, but ONE OK ROCK and SPYAIR are doing it way better than them s:

Versus is looking so good it's not even normal anymore.... I need this in my life! haha...
-
It's Final Fantasy Versus 13 that has the same battle system
-
Enter Shikari quite a while ago. Can't wait to see them again. Party every time!
-
Used to be a bigger fan when I was still a kid My father was a huge fan of them and has seen them live multiple times before. I haven't been able to see them yet but i think that after all these years, I'd still go and watch them. Nothing better than "My Generation", "Take a Look Around", "Boiler", "Rollin'" and any of those other typical Limp Bizkit songs though
-
That's what I thought as well. Anyway, Welcome!
-
Saw them live once, they were fun. Needed a bit more variety in their songs though
-
Heartbreaker was rereleased with different coverart just a few months back, I think that's what Sai's talking about. It's still on sale at kpoptown though. Unless I'm overlooking something. Here!

Just had a namechange. Just check the namechange thread every now and then

Umm off-topic but how can Mucc be an indies band if they moved on to Sony? Girugamesh is somewhere in between, since it's pretty seldom for some indies band to appear on Japanese billboards (I remember myself seeing "Alive" pv in top 100 oricon programme or something like that) Not sure about Oz. That's what I kind of meant when I said that I didn't know for sure. MUCC and Girugamesh were always on the same label. I totally forgot MUCC left and went to Sony, so yeah, I'd assume they're major now. And about Giru, their label is an indie label, I guess it's more like Ellegarden. They were at an indie label, but they were really popular back in the day.
-
Hi there! And didn't they just go major with their last single? I don't know for sure but it could be they're still indie. Girugamesh and Mucc are technically still indie (unless something happened and I didn't notice them go major, though last time I checked they were still indie) I don't think being indie are major changes anything though. Ellegarden was really popular; and they've never been major throughout their 10 years of existence.
