Agreed, and the dreads. Did they sign with anyone else yet?
  2. Peace Heavy mk II

This was okay. "Evoke" had much more of an appeal to me, but I'll still check out this album.

Gamegear was a Sony hand-held, so you weren't super off :')

Well, that sucks. Hopefully it's something that can feel better and isn't chronic.

Bringing back Kamijo's "Speed of Rise" hair
  8. Peace Heavy mk II

Welp, good thing I didn't buy tickets I guess :/ He's going to stop touring NA / SA if this keeps happening: that's twice.
  9. Peace Heavy mk II

HGP was basically Versailles sans Yuki at one point, so it's really not much different to have Kamijo do support vocals. Hizaki should do doujin releases--he's already got running 4 bands that are basically the same thing down pat.
  10. 4/10 photoshopping tbh at least their hair isn't choppy around the edges

What if they just play Chateau La Tour covers? Then I guess it'd just be a Gokiburi concert.
  12. Do you guys use anything to backup files / hard drives? I use Backblaze and it came in really handy when my old hard drive crashed when it got unplugged :(

Another drive? lol You should look into doing a MIRROR RAID setup.

Physical is always best, but in the event you lose everything in a natural disaster, using a file service can bring peace of mind.

#update: they asked me to come in and meet them in person, so I guess I'm really good at thinking on my feet / faking it

The rumors about bands with ghost writers / musicians have been circulating for literally years. Every so often someone comes out with info that shows the vkei scene isn't always nyappy, such as Devil Kitty's Yuuga exposing how some bands don't even sign their own checkis / merch, and numerous people getting caught in sexual scandals, like that guy from Dear L'Novel and Totto from L,Dear. Lest we forget Crane-gate.

On average, how many new songs does Misaruka churn out a year? It seems like they're constantly releasing things and it's all new material.

I've listened to since1889 once and thought they were awful. UnsraW at least has a handful of hits I still listen to today.

Hmm I don't have an answer for this. I equally love both, but I don't really consider them to be in the same realm of music. I like Metis Gretel's "Fairytale Gothic" theme more, and I felt they were really good at sticking to it and more or less inventing their own interpretation of what a lot of other bands had done before, but I also like Grieva how responded to "There's no way they can keep up this Gauze worship act" with:
  22. I guess NB showed that if you're a half-way decent death-core band, all you need is some foundation and a drag queen friend to paint some wings and you're golden for getting fans. yaass @ their bassist using bottom lashes though Musically this actually a lot better than most Japanese vkei bands' attempts at doing this genre. His cleans aren't grating, they're using Western hallmarks instead of brvtal kei gimmicks, their songs sound different enough, etc, but I still can't help but feel like 2007 ended a long time ago.

As soon as I try them and really like them uuggghhhh
