It's alright; pretty nondescript and formulaic. A+ to whomever at double river suggested that they should have 1 guy ghostwrite for 2 bands at once.

The second video has sections that really remind me of Beast of Blood (namely the chord progression + whaling on the drums during the pre-chorus). There's a lot of good things going on, but just as many questionable / sloppy things as well...I don't really know how to feel about it. Kagome was pretty decent as well.

Agreeing with Kiryu: it seems like there’s more to this than what is being presented. The dude said he was sick 3 days ago and then they fire him two days after that. He could have been really sick still? I thought nothing of it until they came out with these big, sappy, explanations.
