Hmm... I wonder if the Hizaki x Teru politics put a strain on the rest of the band? They seem to be the only members who really matter at this point, and I wonder if this is the same situation that caused Versailles to split. If I recall correctly, Hizaki has split up bands before for being hard to work with. Isn't that why Sulfuric Acid ended? (Well, that and Tomozo is really good at making people quit his bands) This is still fairly surprising, but at the same time I'm excited to see what other genres Masashi and Yuki are going to explore next since they're two of the most solid musicians this scene has.

Don't care about Diaura, but I am here for a return of useless face belts.

As an example, Toni Basil never made any money off of "Micky" even though it is considered to be one of the most iconic songs of the 80s, and has its music video featured in an art museum as an example of one of the first music videos. Her label and produces made a shit-ton, though.

I don't see the problem with sharing one of the most iconic moments in musical history here.

Try Sleep My Dear, they're good for you.

And a setlist of all new songs???

I really enjoyed this album. "ETERNITY" is a great single in general, and doesn't feel overplayed in the context of this album. My favorite new song is probably "BEAST" though.

Fun band! Kind of like a lot of people here in that I ignored them until way too late and am kicking myself for it. My favorites of theirs are "僕は魔王" and "【d2b2】." I still need to check out a bunch of their discography though. I think I'm really only into their level 4 stuff and some of their level 3. I felt like stuff like "サイコ×レタア" would have been a lot better if they dropped the super poppy, and rather abrupt, choruses, but I can still appreciate their craftsmanship.

For me, at least, the amount of bands I got into when I first found out this scene was a thing was fairly high, although many of them were broken up by the time I got to them. I followed a fair amount of active bands, but for the most part, 2008~2009 many of people's favorites were breaking up or went in a direction that seems to be unpopular. 2010~2013, most of what I followed broke up, disappeared, or just lost my interest. However, from 2014 - now, I follow a fairly large number of newer bands, probably more in number than when I got into it. While I do prefer bands that are much older, that doesn't hold any nostalgia for me (when things were GOOD!!!) because I wasn't aware of it when it was happening lololol

That's a lot of generalizations derived from an outsider looking in on an ecosystem that is highly highly contorted due to distance.

"Void" was the perfect 1993 Buck-tick fantasy. I like Akira a lot, so I hope he at least continues again.

Kiria seems to only be in bands with stupid names

^ Same! Inochi no Haha starts at around 9:00 and Chlammy is around 23:48 (right after he talks about how the song is about not having sex for 2 weeks...)
