I've finally learned that being kind and considerate gets you nowhere. From this on, I'll be mean and bitchy. At least then I'll know why I don't have any friends.
People are often hurtful both purposely and by accident - so you have to have tough skin to live in this world. Never let your heart grow cold, though. If you do, you'll only fall victim to the madness and perpetuate it even further.
