Lol, it doesn't matter what changes a band makes to its name as long as the sound doesn't change too much. If it matters so much to you, you can have an -OZ- and an OZ on your music player of choice it's no biggy. In any case, when Gazette changed to the GazettE I accommodated and so when Versailles added the ~Philharmonic Quintet~ but this I won't change... I actually rather enjoy the hyphens. Haha.

The English translations are all printed in the booklet, which is nice, but I would like the romanized Japanese lyrics.

L'Oiseau Bleu did nothing for me, really. Pretty, but not substantial. 7/10 Hane wo Hitohira didn't really do anything for me either, just sort of... was there. 7/10 Denshou Sareshizora no Monogatari was actually amazing to me, the weird operatic thing... Was weird at first, but the screams in it really grew on me. 9/10

You know what's SO funny? Raise A Flag is probably the most forgettable song this album.

Gonna do a track-by-track while I listen to it, so I have fresh ideas. I will start off by saying that Kakera was a massive disappointment, so my expectations are that it is going to be better than that. Here's to hoping my expectations will actually be met this time. NoGoD is one of my favorite bands and to answer Furik's question before I start: I think that rather than having a majority of songs like "Saikou no Sekai" and less like "Shirasagi" people are becoming less and less tolerant of this band, which sucks because they have SO MUCH TALENT and I LOVE THEM SO MUCH. Fanboy moment over and compusure retained, let the objective review begin: 1. Kamikaze - Loved it as a single and I love the album version also. I love the repetition in it for whatever reason... I like to get songs stuck in my head that way. I love the last minute or so. His voice sounds so... Powerful... In the way of Atria. 10/10 2. Kowaremono - I'm finding to be pretty basic. Not very mind blowing. Not very over the top or fun or dark or powerful, just a song that they wrote that is enjoyable but not something for the repeat button. What's hard for me is my lack to comment on their newer work (Kakera, beyond) because of how simply basic it is. A redeeming factor of this song is that mini solo at about the 2.5 minute mark. 8/10 3. Downer's High - Anyone else getting kind of a strong 90's vibe from this song? I'm kind of digging this. It's pretty cool and pretty different from what I'm hearing Danchou sing and I am ALL about that! 10/10 4. Yasashisa no Imi - Settling in for a long ballad... I never thought NoGoD was very good with ballads aside from Kono Sekai ni Mihana Sarete mo which is pure gold... Their slower songs (or all songs that don't involve churning guitars) tend to bore the hell out of me... Which is probably way Kowaremono didn't do much for me. However, THIS ballad is actually REALLY pretty and emotional and truly beautiful. Good job NoGoD! 10/10 5. Raise a Flag - Basic single was basic. Not much else to say 7/10 6. Aishitekure - Definitely wasn't expecting something like this with a name like "Aishitekure." Defintiely thought I was going to be given another Shounen to Chizu or something along those basic lines. THIS though... This I can work with. Definitely one of their better songs. I love the drums. I love the melody of the voice and I love that the guitars don't sound like pansy ass shit guitars! 10/10 7. Tenba, Sora wo Iku ga Gotoku - Horses? Okay. I'll accept that fucked up intro because this token instrumental song is actually really really REALLY good. Especially when compared to the garbage one that was on Kakera... I don't even remember anything about it it was so bland. Kono Ame no Mukou ni from Gokusaishiki was really good, but didn't showcase their talents in the way Aozora, and now this song, do. I'm very impressed with this song. 10/10 8. Kijou no Kuuron - This seems to be the one everybody's talking about. I love it. I don't really know what else to say other than this really is a knockout song. 10/10 9. III-Jitsuzon - Expecting this to be the exact same song that II-Kaigi and Ring-a Ring-o already were, but so far... The intro is really nice. Great beat and understated which is good because of how fucking in-your-face I thought it was going to be. The more this song goes on, though, the less impressed I get. It's just a bit too... long. Even though it's got some good things going on, it won't be something I can play over and over again for the length factor. I would say the strongest part of this song is the drums. I do give them props for not continuing this... series(?) the way I thought they were going to. 9/10 10. Kousai - Must say, I really REALLY love this one too! Powerful and yet fun. Didn't notice it was 6 minutes though. Oh well. I think I can deal for how good this song is. It may fade on me though... I used to love Ano Sora wa Gokusai de but then it literally just... I couldn't listen to it ANYMORE because it got to be so boring to me. That will probably happen to this one too. 10/10 11. Identity - The fuck is this shit? 3/10 TL;DR I think this is their best work yet, to be quite honest. I give it a 9/10

I am actually really happy this band is done. I usually don't express my opinion on disbanding matters because I don't want to step on any toes, but seriously. This band was awful. A total disappointment considering the way Hikaru had used his talent in the past. Izabel Varosa inspired my pseudonym (obviously) and to see him do a band like this is so disappointing. I have sincere hope his next move is to a very successful band that makes a lot of music for me to hear him sing on.

Cool, interested to see what they came up with for this single!

If Bertha can get you to Philadelphia Bertha can get you to Virginia. Lol true true, but I may try to make someone else drive me there! Haha
-
;SKJFDBWF NEED TO GET TO VIRGINIA SOMEHOW.

FUCKYESSATSUKIANDKISAKI I think I'll be pleased with this, as I like Satsuki as a vocalist about a thousand times more than Jui.
-
Interesting, I'm always looking forward to their releases.

A slightly more in depth review than "It's great!" now that I've listened to it a bunch more. 1. Kyouketsu no Nari - Great intro, but an intro nonetheless. 2. The Blossoming Beelzebub - Didn't really do a lot for me, dragged on a bit for me without many "oh my God!" moments. 7/10 3. Different Sense - Loved the single, in the album it's also great. 10/10 4. Amon - Didn't care for it at all at first, but it grew on me 100%, but the symphonic version I liked just a little more 9/10 5. Dream Box - I. LOVE. THIS. SONG. Might be my favorite song, next to Decaying Crow. I love the Red Soil-ish bits. 10/10 6. Juuyoku - Fantastic song that I could listen to on repeat, but I often get this and 7 confused 10/10 7. Shitataru Mourou - See above review 10/10 8. Lotus - Good single was good, album version was better, but it still fell flat just a bit. 8/10 9. Diabolos - This one really kept me interested throughout the whole thing. Perfect arrangement 10/10 10. Akatsuki - Really loved this one too. About now is when I noticed the lack of variation, but not in a bad way. 10/10 11. Decaying Crow - Favorite song on the album, I could listen to it on repeat for hours. 10/10 12. Hageshisa - Loved the single, album version didn't impress me much with the new arrangement, but I still loved it just the same. 10/10 13. Vanitas - One of the better ballads they've done. I did like it a lot more than Inconvenient Ideal as it had more power. 10/10 14. Ruten no Tou - A perfect album closer, imho. It had the softer parts, the harder parts, the screams, the singing... It had it all! 10/10 BONUS. 15. Rasetsukoku - Great bonus track, but I can see why it didn't get included with the main songs. It just seemed excessive. 9/10 16. Amon Symphony version - This one seemed more complete than the original version, more melody less noise. 10/10

Really enjoyed the preview, I'll listen to the full song later when I'm more awake. I must say I enjoyed this 100% more than Blue Flame.
-
Stunning video and visuals. I wasn't expecting this to be a 6.5 minuter, but nevertheless the song is okay. I'd say it isn't a memorable song without the video playing.

I consider Merry to be the absolute worst Japanese, Visual, whatever band ever. But this album I would say is the only album that contained even remotely listenable tracks. The way I ended up rating the album on my iTunes averaged a 4/5 stars, but I think when out of ten I'd give it a 6 compared to the other albums which all got two or worse. I was impressed by Finale and Monochrome more than anything else.

Fucking amazing album, enthralled beginning to end. 10/10

There's ALWAYS a track with if...(some word here) somewhere on every band's discography. Oy. Previews sound great though!

I really enjoyed Kagrra,'s music mainly because of Isshi's unique voice. This is a tragedy... 2011 is such a disastrous year. R.I.P.

I was actually really disappointed. They've been one of my favorite acts since they debuted, but this... this didn't blow me away in the same way their other work has. For me, Remind was like Testament from Artificial Hallucination so that I enjoyed. Also, Predict was really well done, but Hypnos, Sirius, and Genuine were too slow and just not... I don't know I just didn't feel any emotion from it whatsoever. I was thinking... If all they were going to do was take old Hora solo songs and add voices... There was a million other songs to choose from, like Prominence or On Falling or Dusk or... Jesus so many songs! But they chose slow ones... Meh, in the end, Kaya still has his solo project that Hora works on all the time so it's not like they never work together.

The B-Sides were pretty good, but overall generally forgettable. Kamikaze, however, was fucking amazing. I'm glad this single impressed me more than their last one. I'd say overall an 8/10, with the title track being a 10.
-
Pleasently surprised with the outcome. Still not my absolute favorite though. Can't wait to hear a studio version as radio rips generally suck ass.

Cover art.

Fuck yes. So then it should be uploaded soon (ish ((?))) I'm so excited to hear what this will sound like.

Thanks so much for what was given! I'm looking most specifically for Atria and Kono Sekai ni Mihana Saretemo, if anyone has them.
