im pretty sure it's going to be above average in spite of the billy idol like title hahaha we've seen worse :/

(radiohead) actually this was already released by "Helping Hand -Tribute To Radiohead-" album
  4. i love this classic old school merry ! strong respect to them for not swaying away from their roots cant wait to get to this!!

the new song will definitely wont be my favorite (that was a little too boring) but i think i will still enjoy the new album (out of minimal loyalty)
  7. i am so happy to hear this. kaoru once recommended downy in an interview, how despite the act is an indie, but the output surpasses its band's position. i could actually see this working good.

akn has been their support bassist for some time, and as soon as they announced he'll be permanent member during "mirrors", i was screaming in joy! i loved him, he suits lynch perfectly. they can have their time, shit, they needed their time so they dont copy-paste another new album anymore. i think this will be a good moment to re-assess themselves and comeback with a new image. just dont, never cut him loose. free akinori!

    finally!!!!

    1. the cover art reminds a LOT of kuryoume's guernika/i hate your popstar life 2. the fact that decay has the time to make and release an album gives me hope that by now, sukekiyo might have also something new to show us (alas, i dont really care for decays)

it has some interesting insights and details ... but in my opinion, their music dont have any sense of "impact" ... sounds too weak and indie-ish . well kudos if that was their intention .
  12. platanity

i like it, i like it a lot! altho it is a little too american pop, but whatevs!

this was never the case ; i dont know how you got there, and i think you're the one who got it backwards (shit disturb ...?), but i am sorry if you felt offended : ) anyways, despite of all this, SADS and kiyoharu is active as we speak (doing shows, instagrams) i suppose it could be that it is being handled and not as serious as we can imagine ?
  14. platanity

i am compelled to say that for me it isnt . i loved, no, i love modern kuroyume as much as i do with the old school's i wish there was thumbs down button so i could pummel it (not meant to quarrel, just sayin')
  15. platanity

i dont think this is something that you could judge that simple . we all dont know the details . after all, artists are most of the time occupied with artistries, not financial issues (=agency fuck ups, etc)
  16. platanity

what the hell . (as a side note, i miss kuroyume ...)
  17. platanity

wow , that was awesome and surreal at the same time .
  18. platanity

i have just seen this ... so it's a box set after all - thought it would be a 2nd tribute album
  19. platanity

surprisingly (...actually it's not) good! i love "damned" , , , kinda remind me old school dir en grey "zomboid"

this is #1 reason why i still choose bands that i choose to listen -- it's their consistency (it's like classic cliche of choosing prius over a jag -- it's their reliability despite the 'meh-ness'). despite how "too consistent" lynch is, id still rather choose them than giving bets on bands that are way too experimental , almost too experimental that it's kinda painful to watch their flimsy fate that'll eventually go to destruction. but as a personal wish, i hope consistent and stable bands -- such as lynch, would at least experiment and play a little for at least of couple tracks in an album (2-3 experimental "holy-shit" tracks wont hurt the whole album) but all in all, i still look forward to lynch, and all the rest of the "consistent" bands.
  21. platanity

oh i love this ! it does sound like "classic" mucc (melancholic and sentimental hardrock) hahaha
  22. platanity

i never felt they made something repetitive ? their individual tracks in albums are very diverse , so you can experience various taste in tracks, in each albums. but on the contrast, lynch seems to be using the same formula, but tweaking sounds and replacing new phrase to make a new song -- it seems . i swear i heard "tiamat" and then tiamt v1, v2, v3 ...
