Excited about this! I thought there was going to be a fourth single in December to maintain a "new single every three months" pattern, but a new album is better! I still haven't gotten their previous three singles, so I'm just going to wait until the album track list is revealed.

HOLY SHIT that's awesome! And to think I was worried a few months ago.

For me personally, it's really difficult to make a tiebreaker for these two bands. DIR EN GREY has gotten me into the bands I listen to, (in my opinion/pov) they have had a huge impact on Visual Kei outside of Japan, and the scene would likely be much more obscure without them (whether or not you still think they are VK). If I had never discovered them, I would know nothing of the bands I listen to, and while I could've came across the name once or twice, I may not have been able to really get into the GazettE. Still, I seem to invest more of my time into the GazettE as of awhile, and since this really is a tie for me, I went with them.

So I guess most of us are in agreement: A followup to "SEVEN" is in order! Regardless, the label change is a good sign.

I honestly kind of doubt it, because it would be too good to be true. Either way, "ANSWER" has given me faith that the next thing they create will sound great! I do hope this hiatus can give them the opportunity to make another DEATHBIE release.

sure Yeah, I said that because Trombe said the album was scheduled for release this month. This was before official release dates and the delay were all finalised. That being said, I'm actually kinda pissed that we have to wait to hear it until October!

I'm glad we'll finally be getting a full-length. The whole "3-type EP" thing was starting to bother me. The promo pic on the poster looks really interesting!

I think all the discs in the limited version are supposed to have their own cases with different artwork. I do like this idea, but the high-ass price tag completely ruins it (IMO so does the DVD). It's why the regular version is selling faster. If the GazettE were American or European, this idea would've worked, because fans would only be paying $25-30 instead of $90! I do like most of the previews, and I spend ridiculous amounts of money on music from time-to-time, but I'm not sure if I want to pay $90 for this...

Where do you guys find the specific composition info, like which specific member wrote what specific song? The booklets only say "all lyrics and music written by the GazettE" and nothing else.

I would recommend having two iTunes accounts. One for your country, one for Japan. Japanese accounts do not accept PayPal, but most stores that sell gift cards do, such as this one.

First thing 葵 has done on Tokuma (since the death of 彩冷える) to not suck! I guess that means the label is letting him write music again. Really looking forward to this!

Too soon. Way too soon. My expectations for this band are getting lower over time.

Another one? Kinda surprised. They usually release two singles before albums. Well, after this single release, there's only four tracks from "Hide and Seek" left to be remade.

how much did u pay for it including shopping service? The CD (still sealed by the way) was $25. I'm waiting to pay for shipping charges until it's arrived at FROM JAPAN HQ (projected cost: anywhere from $15~$20 depending on shipping method I choose).

Must...not...listen......to......songs......will......NOT...CAVE! Right now, my copy is sitting in a FedEx location about an hour away from my house. It should be at my door tomorrow morning (UTC-0800). The constructive(-ish) comments are intriguing (the insults are getting super old). If V-ROCK IS DEAD is as unfitting as people claim, I have a feeling I'll be replacing it with RESONANCE (or even MMFP, if anyone can obtain it when it comes out). But overall, I'm glad most people seem to enjoy what's out there so far, even if I haven't heard it. I look forward to hearing the full album tomorrow.

Only heard the preview for "RESONANCE." Wasn't sure how I felt at first, but liked it more after a few times. And by the way, I'm impressed by the track length for the lead single. 12 fucking minutes!

Seconded! But if they re-record anything, I hope it's one that's not on an in print release. I was kind of annoyed when they decided to re-re-record 人間の要 for THE COLD BODY. It wasn't as good as the other versions.
