i took my time to really get into the album. here is my result: 90% doukoku: really nice opener, really nice melody BUT maos last vocals in this track are horrible. "ah haaa, ah ha haaa, aha ahaaaaaaa-ha!". besides that his vocal performance is stunning here. another dislike (that goes for the whole album): production is worse than MASTER OF ROMANCE. the drums do NOT sound good. 70% Juggernaut: feels generic to me, but it has a nice riff. the only part i really like is 3:35 - 3:54 where mao sings "nakushita ai to kagayaku asu wa shizukesa no naka , nani mo tsutaezu hakanaki mama de kieta ..." especially the "asu wa" in the second line i adore. he sang that in such a cool/melodic way. haha maybe thats a bit too specific, but well i just wanted to share it. 10% LOOSING MY BAD WAY OF ENGRISH PROUD: bad song. lyrical wise and music wise. place BURST ZERO in here, that floats way better! 90% Sabaku no Syndrome: i love this song, it has such an "old sadie" feeling to it, melody is very alternative, especially in the chorus. 20% 棘 -toge-: just think of that song sung in your mouther tongue. pure kitch and trash! dont like the melody at all!!!! 80% deathtopia: good fast-slow mellow agressive type of song, very "alternative" sounding. love the pace changes. epic track! 100% Dress: best single, such a dark depressing emotional outbursting track! love every second. 70% Graceful Angel: Another "alternative" sounding track. i repeat myself, i know. with alternative i mean that those songs couldn't have been singles, since they are not made for mainstream/charts, although graceful angel has a very catchy chorus. but this song could have been a bit shorter, the last break down (3:41 forward) shouldve been cut, too repetitive! 90% Kasumi ni Kieru Hana: Great beginning/riff, emotional chorus. i especially love the guitar work in here! very prominent in verse and pre chorus! maos voice is more silent than the guitars. cool! 90% GIMMICK: love this, overall very cool song. love the guitar scratching/howling in the main riff. 80% Crymore: haha, funny track. fun live verses, nice prechorus and chorus. 70% Mabuta no Yuutsu: nice ballad, but the chorus is a bit too simple in my eyes. nevertheless nice to listen to! feels like a good album to me, but i will replace the LOOSING PROUD shit with BURST ZERO and toge with true world, those were amazing single tracks. --> pretty perfect album haha

super kawaii!!!!! klare kaufempfehlung! immature very? call me a bitch? i havent been rude to anyone here (except takeru). i stayed classy all the time (my humour is super classy if you havent noticed yet).

of course i think I AM funny, i wouldnt post that stuff if i wouldnt think that. i can often laugh about myself, and that makes me a very happy person. if you dont think thats funny, i dont really care, sorry. but hey, try to laugh about it, i think it will make you happier than this album does!

oh my god. i tagged the whole album in wrong! i listened to Megadeth album all time! now i listen to this! kooowaaaiii desu ne! -100000/10! so bad! guys, my review was planned in 4 parts! its a concept review! like this album is a "concept" album which takeru wrote on his toilet.

its an excellent album. even the songs with ultra cheesy choruses (shinkirou, stargazer and senkou) totally grew on me. the whole album is a grower. its their most mature stuff to date. love it. 9,5/10

I don't like it as well. :/ i prefer BORN to produce more songs like fragrance noise. irresistible song ever. natsume zakuro comes close to that. its an epic song. the rest feels like fillers though every song has its parts. the reason for that is the change to that famous label i guess. born has to release many cds so they write a lot more easy-to-write punk songs.

pretty bad album. a few okay songs are in, but they even made the hard songs pop by including ultra poppy cheesy choruses. fail

melodies are cool, but so many songs follow the same chrus pattern. predictable. 5/10

only goo songs are sepia film, fake out and ai owari. the singer is terrible thats right. by the way the chorus of track 4 心模様 is ORIGINAL rip off from PENICILLINS romance!!!!!!

this Mini Album rocks. Kiyoharu simply knows whats cool, that man never writes bad songs. Although, after THE 7 DEADLY SINS, i was a bit annoyed by SADS's new simple songwriting style (minimal chorus melodies, kiyoharu screaming moaning sighing) i have to say that this works again very well, simply cause all the songs just rock. for me this is music i would play to friends in order to convince them from japanese rock haha. only weak song for me is RESCUE, cause the chorus isnt that rewarding to listen to that lame thing for whole 4 minutes. Highlight is defenitely WHITE HELL with its earthquake riff. other favs: GRAVE, SILLY, AMARYLLIS

i dont think this is bad either. of course its nothing new. but it is wrong to expect anything groundbreaking new in the visual kei scene. and hey gazette are major, they keep on going on with their music cause it sells! but i really like noticing that the majority of vk fans finally realizes that gazette isnt that BOMB band they were handled for the last 4 years. cause they never were. this big huge gazette hype drove me crazy, really. the have awesome songs, no question, and i like the band. but gazette were never able to abandon those nasty little fillers they packed on every release. simply because gazette arent creative and fast enough to write a good amount of good songs in a short time. pretty damn tragic that, now as they are major, their music is getting worse bit by bit allthough they take more time to write it.

ok now on a more serious note. this album is okay. its so much better than x rays. Setsuna no koku, Cursed Hurricane, false dawn, Lower World, ANCIENT RAIN, INFERIORITY COMPLEX, rosary and as cold as marble are all good tracks. very simple but catchy. i wont skip them if they get shuffled. the other 5 songs are crap. --> 5.5/10 i guess.

lets just hope that the quality wont suffer cause born never really was a band which released many things in a short time. there was always like half a year till a year between the releases, even if it were just singles.
