I don't even care about Poidol, but the stuff you guys are saying is simply mean. Cheering over bands disbanding really is in poor taste.
  3. Nighttime Jae

Why so bitter tho? Do you have a personal vendetta against them or something? Sometimes it really seems like y'all actually hate vk.

(also, pretty sure actual strip clubs exist in Japan, not to mention soaplands etc. Kyaba and host clubs are just a thing of their own, there's a whole different culture about it, and I'm sure there are some sleazy behind the scenes in that environment as well)

CLACK inc. - 5th Lyrics by Takeru Don't stop Don't stop me now No more lonely heart Don't stop Don't stop us now No one can tear us apart Don't stop Don't stop me now No more lonely heart Don't stop Don't stop us now No one can tear us apart These lyrics are basically conveying the feelings Takeru has towards the band and the fans. As a Clack inc. die-hard fan, I find them really emotional. If anybody would be up to give a proper translation, feel free to 😁

These are some interesting insights👀 It's true, I find it harder to find newer acts that are genuine and do their own music... but there are some out there. Usually, they're the smaller indies ones that get often overlooked :') Reason why I find it hard to get into the next-big-thing bands that everyone seem to be into... they come off as fabricated and uninteresting to me. Even if they start off good, as soon as they get some deal of popularity and a contract I tend to lose interest in them. I'm partial to the current Osaka vk indie scene, there are many smalls band that don't seem to fall into that category, but of course you can't know for sure. But I think that if you follow a band enough, you can tell when they're behind it 100%, as opposed to those who are labels' puppets.

They had a sort of deal with Kerberos Entertainment, only for some reason they weren't officially signed to them? That's what happens with pretty much any band that works with Kerberos, except for Vivarush. I don't understand their business model 🤷🏻‍♀️
  10. Nighttime Jae

Aw damn... I wasn't exactly a die-hard fan, but I was following them a bit because they belonged the the label and scene I follow the most... that's a shame😔

You do have a point, but technically so are we then🤔

There's always a lot of talk of kusomen, bandomen doing questionable things behind the scenes and just being crap human beings in general. How about talking about bandomen that are actually decent, normal people that restore our faith in the scene? I'll start (no surprise) with the CLACK inc.'s guys. Some of these guys have been around for about 10 years, and not a single bad rumor concerning them (trust me I dug deep into Tanuki and other than the the occasional baseless rumor, there really is nothing). What are some others artists that you deem as quality human beings?

Starting from tomorrow, CLACK inc.'s two guitarists Yuu and Ryo (Arma's old name he's back to) will start weekly streams on Twitcast. From my understanding, you can watch for free but maybe not all of it? I purchased the "tickets" and it's like, 10 bucks (8 euros in my currency). The schedule will be: 4/11 Live and talk 4/13 Ryo's guitar lesson and Yuu's voice lesson (Yuu is actually a voice teacher fyi) 4/18 Live with Takeru (the vocalist) 4/20 Drink and snack challenge 4/22 Diet challenge (??) 4/25 Live with Takeru 4/28 Instrumental live Looks like it's gonna be fun, so if you wanna support some good musicians in these hard times, tune in!

Imo it's unfair to the Japanese to clump them with the demented minds of bangyas.

According to the girl, she had sex with Yoshiatsu and he took off the condom mid-fuck. Girl gets pregnant, tells him she's planning to get an abortion and asks him to pay for it and Yoshiatsu, being the gentleman that he is, ghosts her. Then the girl has to ask a male friend to come with her getting the abortion because apparently women in Japan can't go through an abortion alone, the supposed "baby daddy" has to be there too to consent. Here you can find the screenshots of the convo.
  16. Seeing CLACK inc.'s drunken shenanigans live was an experience.

  17. Nighttime Jae

    Their live has started!
  18. Nighttime Jae

From my experience it's more like bringing news, shitting on indie newcomers, sass each other out and downloading stuff, so...

Tell that to Yuu (ex-Zodia and a bunch of other bands) and his master's degree in mechanical engineering. The whole "high school dropouts that live off their mitsus" stereotype is so outdated. Most indies in this day and age have an education and have day jobs to support themselves, otherwise with what they're making they'd be begging on the streets. You guys really can't help yourselves from being judgemental and sassy for no reason huh? Of course everyone is free to do whatever, uploading and downloading definitely won't stop, but I just wanted to reflect on how this affects the scene, especially for the western fanbase. This may be beating a dead horse for your, but I haven't seen a topic for discussing this, so might as well hearing everyone's opinion in just one place.
  20. Nighttime Jae

    ^This.
  21. Nighttime Jae

Ever considered that maybe not every bandoman is a high school dropout without a real job on the side? Just saying. How would it be hypocritical? I am talking exclusively about digital releases, I straight up said I condone it when it comes to physical releases?
