gaze's management doesn't seem to target everyone, only select few it seems. i don't know how they decide, but i know gossip and another band got in trouble in the past. the other band i can't remember their name but they're a vk band thats known for doing parodies and they're the one that most recently got in some trouble. They are the only band in recent years that could became a big one comparable to Mejibray, The Black Swan, Girugamesh etc and  keep putting out quality material.

Was there a precedent for that in the past? 

I sure loved Vexent but some of their songs were clearly rip offs and as far as I know they didn't do anything about that.

I love how they deleted all previous pv from their yt channel so no one remembers they were once a decent band

Many people said that Vexent is a Gazette rip-off and that they used ghostwriters, but after most of the big bands disbanded in the last few years (Dadaroma, Morrigan, Mejibray, Far East Dizain etc.) I would take them over any newcomer that debuted since Vexent disbanded.

Like in the past year we didn't get a single actually good band, maybe Xanvala, but they belong to the groups that sound better live,  so for overseas that's not much.
