@nomemorial's status post got me on a Kagrra, binge (on YouTube), and I found one of their lives where they play some of their older songs. Watching it just makes me really wish I could have gone to at least one of their lives before they disappeared ;w;

Some of the points made me lol a little. It's obviously written with a twist of humor, but like @Takadanobabaalien said, many of the things written are true. (Although, I don't know if it is to that extreme, but some fans/bands are.) A lot of times, I would end up discovering fans who traveled miles away just to see their favorite band at a taiban live or attend an in-store event to see their favorite member regardless of the time or day. I think another somewhat hilarious practice they didn't mention is diving for shit that bandomen throw into the crowd during lives (guitar picks, drum sticks, used towels, sweaty t-shirts, etc). Bangyas get really competitive for that, lol. Aside from the craziness, there are nice fans and most are just looking to enjoy their favorite band (for whatever reason) like in any other scene/fandom.

Another release? Yes! That is awesome. Bring it on. Totally loving Kyounosuke's new look and his funky hairdo.

For their 7th anniversary, they will be playing a series of lives starting on 2019.07.26 at Kawaguchi Hearts, which is part of what they call 'the project for 7th anniversary'. They will play at Tsutaya O-East for their 7th anniversary live on 2019.08.18. Those who attend will receive the 7th anniversary CD "TRIGGER" as a present.

Kudos to that advice! It's something I wasn't actively aware of when I was younger, but fortunately I realized this as I've gotten older. It's a part of me, and makes up a part of who I am today, so I shouldn't feel embarrassed by it. Like @yomii said, there is real beauty and creativity going on in the scene (aside from all the insane drama, but that's sort of unavoidable, lol), and precious gems from the past to discover all the time. And I shouldn't stop exploring (and enjoying) it because of people's opinion. It has made me feel happier and "fuller" as a person overall.

More so VK in my case. I know people who listen to anime songs and/or J-rock, but VK? Not really. So, I always had to listen to VK music with headphones on or not listen to it at all😔 I also remember somewhat hiding my computer screen whenever I watched VK music videos or lives whenever my roommates were around.

Nice covers. Sort of reminds me of the Zekkeishou covers.

A new band 極東ロマンス (Kyokuto Romance) has formed. They will release their first single, Black Rain, on 2019.04.30 digitally (iTunes) and their first album later in July 2019. They will also have their first one man on 2019.08.01 at Shibuya Ruido K2.
