you can tell the tickets aren't selling when they even had to force kyo to do one of those

can you link the video with kyo please?

  3. can you? can you?

(at least rank the top 5 or 3 on the basis of originality)

And you can obviously ignore the bands you don't know about.

Just discovered this band recently and it's been so satisfying, acoustic screamo emo perfection

    (singing starts at 2:11)

They have an EP called "The Distance Between" that has better recording quality and is awesome, but these two demo songs are my favorite by far.

thats exactly what i was looking for if you know more of such stuff lemme know! thanks.

The Black Swan unfortunately is already disbanding :( their frontman Jin is most famous for a band called NEGA from yester-decade if it interests you. Hey but keep an eye on the news section here, there's new bands sprouting basically every few weeks lol!

Dir en Grey do a lot of acoustic and "unplugged" versions of their songs  and then releases them on the 2-disc special editions or bonus track slots at the end of their albums There's a good number of them now!

wow didnt knew that....well i wasnt really deep into the band anyway so it aint a big shock...but good to see that there other band with the same musician. :)

Oh yes your right dir en grey has a lot acoustic and unplugged stuff, actually right after hearing their acoustic stuff did i grew a liking towards acoustic stuff  thats why im looking for more :)

Hi, if you're only interested in rock/metal bands (not only japanese bands) I can recommend you some: start trying Borknagar's "Origin", it's a fantastic acoustic album, other metal bands into acoustic are: "Sig:Ar:Tyr", "Ulver" (the album kveldssanger), and "Ivar Bjørnson & Einar Selvik"
if you want only japanese bands here's my top 10:

-Rentrer en Soi - Last Word
-Dir en grey - Akuro no Oka
    -12012 - The Swim
    -Sadie - Silent Eve
-X Japan - Crucify My Love
    -Luna Sea - Gravity
    -Glay - Way of difference
    -Janne da arc - DOLLS
    -the GazettE - Pledge
    -Vistlip - Chimera

Edit: oops, I listed ballads on that top 10, sorry 😩

thanks a ton mate! Ivar Bjørnson & Einar Selvik sounded the best to me among all! gorgeous.

i love these acoustic songs with raw sound and minimum instruments and sometimes when there are even screams in such acoustic songs it sounds so lovely....kinda weird but i  like it 😜

  7. i got into metal 4 months ago when somebody recommended me dir en grey on my thread titled 'music with screams'or something like that on myanimelist. its the first and only metal band that i was into until a couple of days ago.(currently im also following dadaroma and the black swan) My main motive for coming here is asking(begging?) for recommendations so i apologize in advance if i seem like annoying :).

    Side question -

whats are you guys top 10 acoustic/unplugged songs from metal/rock bands? (i might be creating separate 1 or 2 threads regarding this question if i didnt got good response in this thread....my this introduction thread was actually just an excuse for asking this question so dont let me down and name some great acoustic/unplugged songs folks!)

    PEACE~

oh one more thing, who the actual fuck IS Kiwamu anyway? :(

sorry for reviving a old thread but what does these 'GPntdEuiJZI', 'UHeL064oFas' mean?

  10. there are thousands of bands of only just metal genre so amidst all of them how to you decide which band you are going to spend your money and time listening to?

how do you filter stuff out and select only a few ?

idk if everybody is like that but im someone who never actually likes anything just by hearing it once,i have to keep listening to the same thing at least around 5 times to get into it,so it becomes very difficult for me to decide which song or band should i spend my time listening to...

for example take dir en grey, the first song i heard of this band was vinushka.

first time play - sounded like mediocre at its best.

second time - wtf is this asian dude screaming for?

third time- um...i liked 'this' part of the song only.

forth time- i want to hear it once again.

filth time - hmm? 10 min already over? damn need more songs like this.

currently vinushka is one of my fav songs that makes me go ecstatic whenever i listen to it.

so you see? what im talking about???

The dark secret about visual kei is... Well... I'm sorry to tell you this but all members of a band must have an orgy before their debut. This is so they can become used to doing fanservice to increase sales.

Unfortunately this means the men can become very depraved, kissing and stuff even when not necessary :(

OH! poor guys.....they work so hard to survive in this bad competitive world :(

wait a sec...just what kind of of fans does visual kei attract? im a  fan and i dont call this fan service, its torture!

Do you care if it's Japanese or not? I would recommend:

An Autumn For Crippled Children (depressive black metal, black metal, atmospheric black metal, doom metal, blackgaze, post-black metal)

Gnaw Their Tongues (noise, black metal, drone, experimental, industrial, dark ambient)

And Boris is a good Japanese one (drone, stoner rock, sludge, experimental, doom metal, noise rock, Psychedelic rock)

Dum Spiro Spero just so happens to be my favorite DIR EN GREY album. There are actually many more bands I could recommend but the 3 I mentioned above are good starting point that should lead you to discover similar bands. If you need anymore recommendations of this sort though let me know I have many.

And you know what I'll also give you another Japanese band Envy (screamo, post-rock, post-hardcore, hardcore)

hey can you recommend me more japanese bands/albums which sound similar to dum spiro spero or uroboros or the marrow of the bone? thx.

    cheeky one u r x

i just saw a dadaroma pv and there was some comment saying Yoshiatsu was gay...im a dadaroma fan..idk if its true or not that why im curious..and  though it wont really matter but i still wanna know and then another day when i was looking at some random mejibray videos on youtube,i saw the lead singer tsuzuku and guitarist mia kissing each other and i was like wtf....arent they both guys?  so im now confused and curios and i think its natural to wanting to know more about the people you listen to almost everyday 😜

  15. sorry if there's already a thread like this.

so i have around 3 gb of music on my phone.

what i want to do is is - able to listen to ALL my songs either offline(preferable) or online through an app without actually having the songs stored in my android phone.

so how can i do that?

or do you have a better way of managing music than the one im trying to get to work? let me know.

    thank you.

  16. ive seen a lotta people on YouTube uploading their own songs/albums without actually being in a band or using actual musical instruments themselves....so how do they do that? how are they able to use/record the sounds of instruments like guitar, drums, bass etc so accurately without actually having them and mixing them to create a instrumental music track of their own?
