Neat, I actually like it. Although the vid for Phantom Pain is just Innocent Holic again. ある日,世界は美しいと思った、and KIDS WAR I dig. Now if I just...remove the chorus from The Kinky then it'd be more than 'neat'.

Oh interesting...will be released on my birthday. I hope it will be something good. I hadn't really enjoyed anything since Raven but things can change. Nice vid too, ocean 'baptism'.

Tonight's post is...something different. Now it seems old lol, some from 09/10 when I hyper focused on using only ballpens and highlighters. I had a way shittier low res scanner then and blew most of them out with photoshop. (I've had a long love affair with worms and centipedes..haha long, get it, man I'm not funny.)

I'd probably be happy with anything, but Mei with shamisen and some good bass weaved in...yes please. Even though I prefer 便所 2 just by a hair, I'd love to hear something like the first again. I'd shell out even for just one more amazing track, not gonna give up hope that it's a permanent end yet though.

haha i was thinking the same

Thank you, a lot lol, yeeah. I'm all over the place anyway in style. Right? I thought so too...but it wasn't intentional haha. I just used dry brush. Thank you Tonight's post is...something I'd like to redo on canvas one day. But I always think, you can't recreate the same feeling you had when you made it the first time.

tonight's post is... expression prompt and the joy of hypnagogia

Sweet, just the chorus I'm not wild about, but I like everything else definitely gonna check their other releases if they're better than this. edit: Just finished listening to all their songs, to my surprise only 2 got axed. These lads are getting put right up on my favs list. Gonna buy 調教 for sure. 溺愛公園三丁目、Parasite、Asperger崩壊 are top tracks for me.

Was out late tonight but I didn't forget. convenience store spiders.

I use it as a screening, because 80-90% of what I test out listening to I end up not liking and I delete it. Before youtube I had no idea how to even find music so I just wandered around the cd store looking at the covers, or typed random words into radio.blog.club and that's what led me from video game remixes to vk. I would've never have been able to get into it, or even the rest of the music I discovered without piracy. I support as many independent bands as I can afford on bandcamp, and if I really love an album but can't afford a fair price I usually pay what I can, leave a note saying sorry, and then come back when I can to pay them back fully for giving me the ability to listen to a 20 track album for 3$. In the art world everything is about word of mouth anyways, especially when you are up and coming. If no one can see or hear your stuff and you just drop a 30$ album, no one will know who you are and nearly no one will be interested. It'd be like hosting an art gallery of an unknown with an absurd cover charge. Very few will take that gamble. I think I spend more money on band merch than CDs, but in the end the shirts usually cost 2 or 3 times what the CD did. Which that just comes down to how much space I have to store things.

I'll try anything once, but I know exactly what kind of sounds I like, so if I don't enjoy at least 1 minute of a song then it doesn't pass for me. I never paid a whole lot of attention to genres, but I think I listen to everything except for modern country or radio pop. Also from below, big agreement to that.

Of the photo, it dings all my aesthetic boxes.

Tonight's post is...My very first 'official' painting after I quit my soul sucking job. Ft Gashadokuro

I dig it. I don't know what the sound atmosphere is making me feel nostalgic about but I'll take it.

I like the opening, and the brief solo...but overall I'm not feeling the major key chrous, and no real heavy bits. Some parts made me think of Powerman 5000 lol, pass for now until I can hear it with EQ.

Tonight's post is...Bloodborne fanart. I'm not really a fanart kind of person but the game inspired me enough to. The Snatcher The Orphan of Kos growing up, and Mother Kos (I like those blacklight fuzz boards) Also, just after one day of different / positive interaction I've already made arrangements with my cousin that I will do a variant cover for a comic for his friend. One step forward two steps forward

I really like that look, and the band name is catchy and isn't "parenthesesparentheses underscore 77XXXx--CORE", so, fingers crossed.

Hmm. Innocent Holic and KIDS WAR at least will make good workout tracks. Actually on a second listen I think I'd come to like The Kinky (lol), a lot as another campy song, but just without that chorus jesus, but I like the rest of the vocals in it. Need to hear the rest of 5, sounds like it gets cut off right when it drops. 1 & 2 are a big ol eh shrug "ok"

Ah, thank you ( : I will do my best...I actually read all these messages in the morning and it motivated me a bit. lol sweet, I loved that game and I'm pretty sure I still have some very shoddy pencil drawings of the Water Dragon, Orochi and Ninetails somewhere. Thanks! Thanks, both my grandma's had a lot of furniture / paintings / snuff bottles around the house with Bunjinga art on them, but it's not something I ever attempted to do myself. Maybe it influenced me subconsciously over time? haha. Nah, but it may stem from that I used exclusively ink and pens only for a long period of my life I guess. I don't usually think about anything before I begin something personal. (Unless it's a pre-imagined scene, 2nd pic was one of those. but took a year before I even bought a canvas for it lol.) Thank you. Ha it's really interesting that people see that in my art, I've really never thought of it to be that way. Maybe it's the colors I use? Being that red with gold accenting is my favorite scheme with pretty much anything + bold black maybe it's unavoidable My favorite artists are Wayne Barlowe, Denis Forkas Kostromitin, Francis Bacon, Suehiro Maruo and such. I'll magnetize to anyone who makes or sees things in the same vein as me lol

I've been very uninspired for a number of years now, and I really struggle to feel any emotion anymore. Loud music and a whole bloody lot of caffeine are about the only thing that allow me to work, albeit very sterile and not on stuff I enjoy. Getting back into some sort of community...and getting back to VK instead of listening to the same old music I always do, I hope this can propel me in a more positive direction. Already I've finally been able to pick up a brush again (or I guess in this case, a paint bottle lid lol) thanks to listening to Sukekiyo so I will start my thread with it, though it is unfinished I am just happy to have done something. Another canvas I've had sitting under a sheet for almost a year. I hope to actually complete Something from last August. Gold red black and mossy greens are my main love. I usually do stuff digitally because it's way more efficient and my wrist nerve is fucked up...but it's way harder to get exposure digitally so I've had to move to paint. ink thing from a couple years back I guess I'll just post one thing per day from now on to not be too spammy. Maybe it will revitalize me further and then I can post new things.

Gotta give it to them for finally getting me to make a new personal art piece for the first time after almost 10 months. Emotion ain't easy to find and bands good enough to foster it even less so.
