La'cryma Christi - Dwellers of a Sandcastle La'cryma is quite underrated in general (if we take MH and last.fm folks these days into account), and this is also the album most newbies skip for no apparent reason - I mean fhs - your first LC songs (either 'Forest' or 'Warm Snow', pick one) would be most probably lifted off HERE... Anyways, this really sticks out as a vk release due to it's "late 70s-ish artsypantsy pop-ish rock with a tinge of Kingston Wall-ish psychedelia"-factor - which lifts them to the same level with Malice Mizer in terms of "the most intriguing and unusual vk bands" ps. it's in fact, a rerecording of their first EP called "Warm Snow" - but I prefer this one sound-wise 7zpYhop4muI hrWgB3uRYAk (ps. this is one of the best vk "pop" songs, hands down) Strictly recommended for Ledzep/Kingston Wall/Luna Sea (and prob. X JAPAN) fans

DIVISION will be definitely a rockist album though - I just can't see them going back to STACKED RUBBISH-era nu-metaldom (note: compare how "light" is Toxic when compared to DIM, and "more violent" material doesn't always have to mean that they would really go full-on retardcore on us)

(Should be actually) I suppose Sigh's old repertoire (Sigh fanboys/girls here might have better suggestions/recs) might fulfill your difficult request (I might have misunderstood you) or um, let's take Zess' "other favorite" into account (after seeing your Funebrarum link + Dir en grey's "atmospheric" soundscape praising) pAkAwUe7wYw (Almost the same amounts of -core music as in new DEG - which you might cherish, not my cup of tea though)

Things that I liked in OMEGA: 1) additional "intro" in THE SUICIDE CIRCUS (that eerie thing before the curtain opening animation) 2) Interesting BG animations in some songs (especially during INFUSE INTO and OMEGA) - I'm very fond of postmodern graphic art as well, hey Things I kinda liked: 1) My Devil on the Bed - Idk, it just gets stuck in my head. Things I wasn't very fond of: 1) Lack of enthusiasm from Gaze members (especially Aoi and Kai) 2) Background vocal track abusing (which caused some "lip synching effects" - controversial topic among gazestans btw) 3) Effed up 13STAIRS[-]1 - RUKI NO In overall, I'd rather listen to the album and watch their previous dvds (especially DIM SCENE)

Is it me or does Mayaku pv seem to be very...low-budget-ish if compared to the previous single's (...to Sakae idk) pv? (Nothing will be as low-budget-ish as Eros pv in Lycaon's case tho, NOTHING ) The song's a complete suck vocal-wise anyway. Ps. I can see where his fascination with white lilies is coming from...

Umm shouldn't it go otherwise? As in "he was unbearable at first but his singing improved quite a lot" ? I mean, his vocals have improved ALOT after early years...unless you haven't checked "9" or GEMINI lately, since they would be a good showcase for that.
