They have released full PVs off singles before the release date many times before (2 months earlier) a.k.a Stacked Rubbish/DIM - single PVs and certain TOXIC singles (Shiver, Pledge, Vortex...). This one is just an exceptional case (considering they don't want to stream INSIDE BEAST pv on YT...?)

Takeru and 0.8byou...collabing? HOLY SHIT What a combo

Renai Neet ~ Wasureta Koi no Hajimekata (currently watching) Saikou no Rikon (on hold) Boys Before Flowers (on hold, might ditch (Korean ver.))

A tip that they will never bother to read: For real shockers, Gazette - do scenes where you expose yourselves without flamboyant attires and makeup while performing - a la "Cockroach PV - casual scenes with toilets" (except that their faces were covered there, I guess?). Uruha's true colors aka his real face showing the so-called "eternal hangover" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pYtsuQHVRas The first scene, for reference

^What. Also, I don't hate Merry either - and I can't find any reason to (unless you are very, very, veeeery sensitive about ""chaotic"" vocals/instrumentation) Since we have 4 good albums from the past to "digest", to begin with. // personal views.

Are they even trying anymore? Oh well, too early to speculate about that.

Kinda interesting to read some positive memories in the midst of bittersweet drama related to your "flashback" hits and stuff. Seems like I am the only one who has experienced only passive breakup... I am being subtle about my memory-related song and post a link to it: http://vimeo.com/69100984 This song has cheered me up when I was either down or just plainly pissed off for something (it still does ) I can remember myself jamming along to this hit as a kiddio when I had no chance to hang around with friends during new year's eve.... (In terms of PV, I didn't give any symbolic meaning to it when I was younger (except that I took Ken's look there as a "main principle" of my must-looks.../metrosexual issues) BUT now that I've mustered some good and bad experience, I might say that PV above represented certain phases (as PV shows, negative ones) that I had to go through in my lifetime - it helped me to judge and think over my deeds alot, so yeah, a helpful song in both ways. I am sorry for railing with such off-topic things, lel.)

What I personally noticed was that -Mazy- shows had much bigger venues + were heavily "theatric-based" (like say, the last Mazy show had many interesting backdrop reflections/videos for each song, as far as those live reports go), while -Instinct- gigs are basically just "raw" gigs (no showman/theatric stuff going around) @Teletubby: there's also this portion about Die doing a small thank you- MC: Seems like Die's role is becoming more prominent in DEG these days (at least he does more BG vox than Tosh these days) // just trying to get my hopes up

That SPOT reminds me so much of NIL's intro, guess I could go along with Augie's lines and say that it's gonna be a SE . Even if their musical direction got poorer, gotta give them props for putting constant oomph on their visual direction (milieu-related - if you could only ignore the "fanservice" context, that is). Ruki would've been better off as a visual designer/photographer/artist

I remember when everyone got nutso over "Alkaloid Showcase" - or it's just me remembering these vk things wrong. Also, in terms of Kuroyume a little fact-related detail below: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FKmG1tonhS8 Okay, kotekote-enthusiasts and internet fame aside, THIS SONG RIGHT HERE is Kuroyume's most well-received and *overplayed* song for decades and so on. Also fun-fact: one of the standard "high school band" songs, yes. (just ask Japanese people about that, the hell they know anything about FOOODIAAAA or "Romance of Scarlet" in general) also, another successful, well-received one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FmJWy79bp1g (bluntly put, "punk" Kuroyume was much more well-received than AISMAIRAIF/FOODIAA/DESSUMASK-Kuroyume in general - ignore the whole "internet popularity" BS ) In terms of Luna Sea, I think "I For You" is THE song in their case too. Why? Most mainstream listeners apply the band to that drama OST snoozefest + how many people are still remembering it, lmao. "DRINK IT DOWN as THE song" -claim is totally blatant, failed attempt at trolling, and a big insult to L'arc - enthusiast like me. But yeah, gotta only shrug - whatever floats your boat, mate!

So, I stumbled upon this one while scrolling through Kyo_official's posts (Kyo's official twitter) http://thezemeckises.com/ Guess it's sort of his new comic-like, Nightmare Before Christmas - themed creation? (in case you don't believe in that, check the merch and character names + art style / kyo stans beware) also, interesting translation for character desc. (thank you, kyotakumrau@tumblr): So, I never really doubted Kyo's ability/talent in non-musical activities as well (come to think of it, Rinkaku's cover is still beautiful) Gonna look forward to this...yay.

Can't see anything wrong with "Coda" but agreeing as well. I can really tell that there are going to be TONS of SEs again. Also, super-vogue covers won't really help boost your respect to the higher level or so (certain bands have passed by with not-so-great covers but very cool audio content). / artsy Pretsy says: I can see a mutant in this cover - the title and the cover claim that the whole album is going to be one huge clusterfuck, I guess?
-
Noooo Shin Hope he copes up with his disease, I don't want Kuroyume to lose such an essential member (even if it's an ex-member - he had a huge part there y'know)
-
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EwR0yxbWYNo&feature=youtu.be Made me like the remake even more...and perhaps more willing to own that DVD (even if it's more of a MACABRE dvd-like doc-styled piece)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eHHoGTwV6Sg ... / Easily one of the songs that are related to "first-thought anime songs" in non-fanatic knowledge (along with Sailor Moon tunes)
-
Isn't Ryo the "leader"-figure of Girugamesh? If so, then I can't see any reason for blaming Satoshi either (in fact, I do think he's a decent vocalist too)
-
Umm aren't you meaning "Ready Steady Go" by that? Also, Mizerable is Gackt's song, lawlz. That reminds me: Gackt - Vanilla (WHY? LIKE ONE OF THE BIGGEST "VK" HITS EVER)
-
Buck-Tick - ROMANCE/Just One More Kiss (the former is pretty much their biggest internet hit and the latter is say, one of the biggest jrock hits to date in 80s) Alice Nine - Rainbows D'espairsRay - Garnet/Squall Dir en grey - Yokan/Cage/Obscure/The Final Tokyo Jihen - Himitsu (the majority adores it, srsly) Ringo Shiina - Gips (basically most of Japanese youth who've spent their days in early 00s have heard this piece soooooo many times) Asian Kung-Fu Generation - Rewrite/Blue Train L'arc~en~ciel - like every anime op song of theirs (INCLUDING Blurry Eyes too) That's all I could come up with, eh.

I forgot my take on this, eh: Unraveling - as it was noticed ,the song itself was being worked on during Kyo's "sick leave" back in early 2012, so its "DSS-ish" atmosphere is not that amusing. There are cases in which band tries to do clusterfucking with instrumental layers, but at the same time - it "enriches" the sound. I dig myself the way that bridge flows and the climax - which unfortunately might be an outtake of DREAMBOX (in fact, the whole song itself sounds like a different take on Dreambox). Decent verses, catchy bridge, chorus that leaves a lot to be desired...eh, call it a decent one! 7,5/10 Karma - I felt like the intro as a general was totally unnecessary, and holy hell: even though it's nothing more but a honest "nod" to Kiri to Mayu's deathcorefest, we can make one point clear: as a nostalgia freak like me, you cannot HATE it. Even if Chelsea Grin-like cheesy vibes are oozing madly out of this track. Decent-ish, nothing more: 7/10 Kasumi - I like the way main melody goes, with 12-string acoustic guitars and some chorus effects. BUT the way Kaoru goes with his reverb chugs makes me feel bad for his bandmates - especially Kyo, when he is trying to "struggle" with his reverb tremolos during chorus. Feeling skeptic about the solo and OOH-OOHing too, say - isn't cheese factor a bit high here (Zess mentioned this too)? The sound in general sounds fresh and balanced - if we learn to pity Kaoru with his effect wanks, ALSO how Kyo pulls it out - you can really hear that he didn't really want to delve back (which leaves the ending to be more passionate, I guess?). Call it a decent one (again) 7/10. Karasu - My biggest favorite out of this bunch - you can hear how all elements are incorporated CORRECTLY. Feels like they finally picked a right, fitting song to be interpreted. Digging the shit out of ambient-like guitars and Kyo's horror-flicky shouts in DEATH EDUCATION-parts. If only DSS really had more "flowing" songs like this (a la Shitataru Mourou-like way). Not so necessary to mention, but the "image" of lyrics here becomes much stronger with this remake imho. Good one 9/10 Bottom of the death valley - Zess summed it all up well, and let me give it a small nod: it really sounds like a Borderlands-like rendition of Kisou's most nostalgic dirge (no, it's not Mushi) - you could consider this belonging to both pros and cons. Why? The suicidal, desert-like feeling is conveyed here pretty well, BUT in most cases ends up anemically - say, was it really necessary to take the bass intro out (saying this as a long-time fan)? Also, I don't really think A7X-like guitars here were necessary - if only this were a stoner metal-ish tune (would strengthen the "image" once again), then I won't be criticizing this that much. Decent/Mediocre 6,5/10 Unknown.Despair.Lost - Before I sum up my thoughts, I'd like to thank WB for noticing the "flashback" in this remake: not sure if everyone really noticed it, but the acoustic intro is an octave-low rendition of JEALOUS' music box outro (Why did they do that? Find it out for yourself ). I kinda felt like this was a nu metal-like parody of the original - which falls easily in band's "not sure whether to take this seriously or not"-section. I adored the original though, and learned to dig this one too - for pure lulz only. Not recommended for those with serious listening habits - 7,5/10 The FINAL - This time, guitars don't feel like trying to make Kyo struggle out of his way (despite the fact that he still sounds bored here, as well). They didn't really change the flow of this song, except the way Kyo "dramatizes" his choruses in the end + solo which doesn't ooze that much cheesiness like, umm, Kasumi's "new" solo. My second favorite out of this mini, maybe. 8/10 Won't bother with limited edition reviewing, ehh. Call it a day, and 7,5/10 in overall. A decent mini, showing some improvement after mistakes - but "less is more", as it was used greatly here. No need to go with multilayering if you want to perform the tune greatly on lives as well (saw "Unraveling"' live captions off Cologne (?) - sounds pretty hollow without layers) Oh,... my lack of sleep.

Just as I thought, there is no end to this.

Seems like everyone just has forgotten those freaky titles on MOAB? The hell, agreeing with Wonrei in terms of UN-thing though. Looking forward to that despite the fiasco title-wise, Rinkaku was pretty great and Unraveling was decent - so I really hope nothing goes wrong with this release (they had enough time to come up with something different tbqh)
