Awww, but you work and take classes. My sister's situation is definitely similar to your friend's, except all of her friends ditched her during their senior year because she wasn't "cool" enough. She's called them out numerous times, but they've never apologized or even acknowledged what they had done and blamed her for their friendship ending. Really wreaked havoc on her self confidence. Sorry my post kind of sounded judgmental, it's just kind of hard/frustrating.

Does anyone else have a sibling who is a shut in? My sister is one and has never held a job. She's been a NEET since she graduated high school over two years ago, which almost didn't happen. It's also sort of odd because she's definitely kind of the favoured child, which my friends have pointed out too.. I love my sister but it's difficult and the frustration from my parents' enabling her gets projected onto me.

I like how my friends living in northern Japan are just getting more and more ticked/used to the missile warning announcements in their towns but upset because it's so early in the morning they can't deal.

It's like, $90 CAD but I want that limited edition so bad. I might... I might get it..

I am way too attracted to Ichiro Yamaguchi, it's not good for my heart. Also oddly attracted to Noko from Shinsei Kamattechan and.. that's.. always made me slightly uncomfortable. lol

I've known some Japanese guys who definitely like visual kei bands but it depends on the band. I know for quite a few of the bands I like that when watching live DVDs they have male fans. I used to know a guy who went to a lot of lives and was a huge fan but he was also gay. Most guys I know love indie and/or mainstream J-rock when we've talked about music we both like (orrr are huge pop fans, the amount of EXILE fanboys I know..). If they're really into music or play music themselves then they usually know of and like a few visual kei bands for the sound.

I didn't expect to like this after the preview but ahh, it makes me so happy?? But what Shinsei Kamattechan song doesn't, even the.. uhh.. "those" ones written by Noko..

Middle of nowhere, east coast of Canada. haha Also it's 20+ hours traveling time for the flights. Although if I take the bus to Montreal from here I think that's at least another 9 hours traveling? Depends whatever works out cheaper ticket wise. Aka I'm asking for d e a t h. @Komorebi, I think you can tell them you need that time off. I know a lot of people who've been offered full time jobs suddenly when they'd already made month long travel plans. For the most part, I think companies/businesses/whatever will understand. Plus you should get at least two to four weeks vacation time. I get that that was about priorities but literally so many people have told me "Shit, I just got a new job and already planned to visit fam in Japan for a month fuuu".

I could take one of my neighbour's horses if we didn't live an hour and a half driving distance from the nearest airport. lmao They casually hang out on their lawn like giant dogs. I'm just not looking forward to taking 20+ hours to travel somewhere.

Deeply regret not getting into Chinese language films/music earlier. What was I doing with my life? I'm thinking of going to Hong Kong as well as Japan next year. Tickets only cost 1k?? What is this fantasy world? Flying from here costs an arm and a leg. I can't believe my trip is only six months away. So much prepping to do once my work announces our layoff period next spring. I'm probably going to cry when I order my flight tickets (and so will my bank account). Still debating taking the night bus to Montreal and flying to HK from there since it's way cheaper and less layover time (what are these multiple night layovers, get out of here). But I don't trust that bus not to break down as it usually does. lol I also hate that airport with a passion but the staff have always been fabulously great with me and my hillbilly ass because I don't know how public transportation and flying works. Sorry I grew up in the middle of nowhere, we just have boats and a lot of broken roads the government refuses to repair.
  11. Oh, the Leos thing was more a joke than anything! My narcissistic ex was one and so was a guy who had a raging awkward crush on me and made it a point to figure out my sign. MY MOON IS IN LEO????? WHAT IS THIS NONSENSE? My ascendant is Virgo, which makes sense. It's funny because apparently Leos and Aries don't get along, and that Leos don't like Pisces but my sister is a Pisces and we're super alike. It seems like according to other stuff I'm reading on these charts I have a lot to do with Pisces. I was supposed to be born a Pisces too but was three weeks late. :s My best friends are a Capricorn and a Sagitarrius. I seem oddly attracted to Virgos. Which is.. funny again because they're best suited for Pisces. But for real, I'm like a good mix of both Pisces and Aries.

Mmm love when people think saying racial slurs casually is totally fine. My first boyfriend used to constantly say the N word, especially towards his black coworkers. I was mortified that he thought that was okay. That, and he allowed his coworkers and others to call him a ch*nk. o_O I had to sit him down and tell him why he shouldn't say the N word or allow people to call him racial slurs. I've heard a lot of people say ch*nk and not think of it as a racial slur and it's always bothered me. I had a classmate in high school who got extremely visibly angry/crying upset over being called that by our classmates to the point he knocked desks over. Always stuck in my memory. (also yah my hometown is racist af) I swear a lot. A lot. I've never once thought saying a racial slur was okay. Like, why?
  13. I'm an Aries, but just barely missed being a Pisces. Sometimes I don't feel Aries fits me at all until I remember how stubborn my ass is and that I'll fight anyone. I've never felt comfortable with leadership but for some reason I've always wanted to be in leadership roles although I'm very quiet. I don't fit many of the weaknesses of an Aries though, I'm far too patient and understanding. lol I hate Leos.

I totally get that. Some of my friends who have talked to me openly about being asexual also had a hard time accepting it. I'm still on the fence on whether I am but I think it's pretty clear I am to an extent, but don't feel the need to label myself. But it's good to at least know because of personal circumstances I've been in and people not understanding. I had an ex constantly tell me he thought I was and it was pretty hurtful how he went about doing so. It's also taken me a long time to accept I ain't yer average heteronormative straight kid, and then further complicated by the fact I don't feel sexual attraction very often if at all.

When I was in high school back in 2010, I played this video for my music class.

Do you think that you might possibly be asexual? I don't think it's weird at all, I've had quite a few close friends who feel the same as you do and they are often frustrated by it. I'm possibly ace myself but I experience romantic attraction.

I went to get a frappuccino today and my barista accidentally drizzled caramel on my drink, threw the bottle down, and looked completely done with life. Same, same. Pumpkin spice tastes really good with caramel.

I didn't like most of the covers. lol It's really, REALLY weird hearing other people cover Plastic Tree songs I never realized how unique their own sound is. I don't really like MUCC but totally expected that cover. Pelican Fanclub and People in a Box sound kind of good though. I started laughing my butt off at a crown of rebellion's cover I don't know WHY (it's not even bad now that I listened to it again but I think it's the growling or whatever I can't take it seriously). This unintentionally got me addicted to The Novembers. I'd been meaning to check them out and now I can't stop listening to them.

When will your dental work be over? And how much $$$ is your dental work going to cost. If it's scheduled soon (idk if you're waiting for insurance to kick in or if it's something else, I've never had wait time to see my dentist and I've had plenty of work done) then stay but if not then it's not worth it. You could find another job you enjoy more that offers coverage, or pay out of pocket/get your own dental insurance plan. It sounds like it's taking a really negative toll on you and I dunno if it'll be worth it if you had to wait months. Also depends how serious your dental work is, like we talking wisdom teeth removal, multiple fillings, root canals, that jazz? And here I thought 100% that my work offers dental plans, and these bishes don't. Health plans but no dental. Boo. I really frickin' do not want to pay out of pocket to get this stupid wisdom tooth removed or filled. I'm super prone to cavities because of the type of teeth I have (six fillings and counting, yo).

If he didn't come across as a stereotypical basic white girl, I probably would've proposed by now.

I've been using Tinder for over a year and have yet to have someone be a douche towards me. I never receive negative messages, no one asks me for hookups, if someone does say something offensive to me I call them out and they apologize instead of getting defensive. Generally receive more respect from random weirdos than I did from my exes. Wtf? Although they're all kind of flakey af and... weird. If one more guy tells me I'm "cute as a button" though, I'm gonna throw hands. I did add one dude I think is super cute to social media but we haven't met up yet and I mostly just want to steal his teacup pig. He dresses it up.
