Another update from me. I finally did teach myself how to restore the backupfiles to a brand new cubecart install. I hope that I also can get it done later if I got access to the hostpanel of were vstar is located. (hopefully back soon) So, nothing will be lost. And in the meanwhile Suuu can recheck all orders at the server I used for testing. So I can't wait to put everything back up. and to find out how that SSL thing works on the host were vstar is located. I found it fast on the server which I tested stuff on. Well my experience grated up *(^_^)*/ got a level higher. lol.

Meanwhile it's Monday evening. And we didn't came a step future. our host did gave us only 72 hours. We were still waiting for a reply which we didn't got on time. so they did suspend the website fully. However no worries. As nerd as I am. I got everything inside a backup. Suu said that there were still unconfirmed orders, so today I tried if I could upload the backup to a server of my rich american client. (laugh) cubecart was installed sucessfully, backupfiles too but somehow I can't link the store code, so store seems to be empty. old tutorials don't work, of course I've contacted cubecart. Still no worries, the backup file which was created I can it open also with a special phpblabla thing. So I got access to everything. Which means All unconfirmed orders are saved. *few* So we can keep going on!! *YAII!!! So right now I write down the last orders which still need to be confirmed manually down, via a difficult way, but I do understand it (geek level 100%). so that Suu can contact those people, to double confirm their orders. The last placed orders will be confirmed manually by email. But please wait a little bit until you can reach vstarpromotion.com and the webstore again.

Let's hope so. Host is mailed for the issue. Also did chat talk with the host. So hopefully the technical people will be online this weekend. But now its almost time for sleeping, newspapers need to be delivered on Saturday too. But first I think I will drink a beer to clear my head. tomorrow is a new day. night night.

I think, I figured out what kind of malware it was. It's that kind of popup malware you say sometimes which can harm your PC. However I did do delete that all, still something is left which won't harm our PC's but it kinda stole a SSL certificate. So we need to create our own one to overwrite theirs again. However, if you check the internet for SSL certificates its all pay pay pay for it. I did check out a free way, BUT somehow it's damn complicated. But after checking the hostwebsite I found cloudflare, which need to help us to create a SSL certificat for free. Still takes 24 hours until that account does work. So I hope it will be up all good at Sunday again. I never did got this issue before, all new for me too. I try my best. and if someone can help, drop me a DM.

Sadly not.. it's even redirecting now to a Spanish website (>_<) So, change your passwords on other services if you use the same password on other websites. Lucky that I made a backup earlier from the webstore. and it all happened today, if i check logs back. and this host is kinda difficult (>_<)

Since its midnight in Japan. if you visited the vstarwebstore it says that it might could harm your PC. I've checked reviewed everything and fixed the matter as far I could. But you will still see the screen because we don't have a "https" url. I still do recommend everyone who used the webshop to change your passwords.

Maybe Russia is blocking some websites ip's from other countries. (yeah countries can do that...) Can you pass Suu and me a screenshot? So then we can ask the host were vstar is located for more information. But I really think it's because Russia is blocking some IP's... But maybe the host can fix the problem somehow...

still a pity to see that CD's with a simple PV DVD getting more and more expensive. their new look is great tho.
