Almost in my third and final year of university, I finish second year in a month. I've just realised I'm in the totally wrong degree for my sudden change in career trajectory. I'm studying broadcast journalism and I wanna work with animals, yet I feel like the doors are now shut on that. Plan B is do a masters degree in politics or broadcast journalism and ride the train to anywhere career wise

I haven't listened to DIAURA since Ruin, but I might have to give this new concept a listen. Also, the new look is actually relatively spicy so they've got that going for them!

I didn't watch her show, but I respect what she does, and it's great what she does. I just wouldn't say edgy is the right term as I've always used "edgy" with a hint of sarcasm, maybe that's where this confusion is coming from. She is perhaps one of the most influential activists on racial matters in the modern music industry, I'm not going disrespect her one bit.

Try Arlequin, they're a good band from early on in this decade (2013 I believe) and they're still going strong so they're worth following! Also, their music is rock/metal but keeps it upbeat imo
