Well there’s already Arche at Nippon Budokan from 2016 that has two shows where they play Arche in its entirety. I’m assuming the Mode stuff is over. Missa and Six Ugly songs were incorporated into the other Mode tours, so those aren’t likely either.

Diabolos. The Macabre remake is its own thing, but Vinushka, Diabolos, and Zetsuentai all follow the same song structure.

Zetsuentai is a perfect example of why DEG should abandon trying to capture lightning in a bottle again. They know Vinushka is a great song, but this is the second time they’ve tried to do it again, and each time it’s less effective. Zetsuentai literally sounds like someone said “we need a long song”. Like it didn’t turn out that way naturally, it was planned.

Was Mejibray “super popular” though? I feel like Western VK fanbases oversell their favorites quite a bit.

Well it’s not exactly the most technical musical term for it, but that’s what I call it. I associate that sound with clean tones coming from Fender guitars, but I think Die uses ESPs, with some modeled after Telecasters. Die does do it in DEG. For a recent example listen to Aka.

I think the point is she has talent, she just chose a questionable outlet in which to apply it. I’m not going to sit here and say she can’t draw, because she obviously can. She has a weird Yoshitaka Amano style that you don’t typically see in fan art, and I dig it. I just don’t want to see it used to draw Shinya jacking off.
