This band seems interesting~ They grabbed my attention, because their members consist of ex-蒼-AO-!! Ordered their single~ Hope it ships soon!! :D Excited to listen to them!!!

I personally love this band so much, but their name is so awful. "Dead Children" -- dumb and a little disturbing lol

This band is just not for me.... That high-pitched screaming in the background for a lot of the song is annoying. Wanted to tear my ears off... And the song sounds all over the place and not in a good way. Hopefully they release samples for the other songs on the single.... If it all sounds like this one song, not spending the money.

Every music scene changes over time. If visual kei still sounded like what it did in the '90s or even the early 2000s (pre-2010s), I wouldn't like it because it'd just be the same music being pumped out. And in my opinion there was some great and decent bands back then, but then there were also a lot of shitty bands too... It's nice to see the scene change whether from the individual's perspective it's better or worse musically. I would say there are at least a decent number of bands that still have the "soul of visual kei" in them and are passionate about what they do. Just because the scene they're playing music in isn't like '90s doesn't mean they don't have any soul. If the scene's current music isn't to your liking, it'll probably change again.

Yes, I got my copy a couple days ago. It's great in my opinion.

Ya, I agree with this. Musical differences may be a reason, but I bet a lot of the time it has to do with finances. I would assume visual kei is far more expensive than your average indie band too... All the makeup, costumes, photoshoots, etc. probably add up. I can't imagine how much it costs for all of that on top of studio time, concerts, etc.

(I would provide examples, but I'm not much in the mood to try and translate lol) My favorite visual kei lyricists would have to be.... SaToRu / グラムヘイズ-glamhaze- Their first single has really resonated with me on a personal level. His lyrics appear to be simplistic, but deep and/or get to the point. I like the theme of the songs so far. Themes of the struggles of life but still moving forward. Really curious if SaToRu is going to branch out with his lyrics in future releases or stick to similar themes. Kazuki / ザアザア-XAA-XAA- His lyrics tend to also be simplistic in my opinion, but are beautifully/cleverly written. AKIRA / MASKED RIDER SYSTEM Love AKIRA's style of writing. His lyrics are simple, get to the point, yet are very beautifully written. The lyrics on their last single are especially emotional. The last song is a farewell to the fans.
