@Takadanobabaalien i have started liking luna sea recently, and i was wanting to check out their earlier stuff, but of course i've been lazy orz besides that, i've been more into late 80s~early 90s vk NOT X, so there's that I had a lot of old vk in my old youtube playlist before my channel was axed ;w; now I barely remember what I listened to back then, other than the ones I posted here. However, I definitely remember David & Misa because of how they stuck out from that fold and just how fucking mezmerizing their music was for me, and I became so dedicated to them that I checked out more of their discog & other bands, unlike the other bands I've listened to from that era~ There really isn't anyone else like them, and it's a shame how underrated they really were...:/

Ooh! Good guess, I forgot all about them! ;o;

I love the shit out of old skewl-kei, especially obscure shit, but it's hard to pick specific faves, even when there's so much! Here's what I have on the top of my head: Of course, I really love Malice Mizer. As I started exploring them some years ago when I first got into visual kei, I found this gem and instantly fell in love: I also remember getting into Da'vidノ使徒:aL (Da'vid Shito:aL) around that period too; I was surprised to see that they weren't very popular and didn't last very long, and I think that's just fucking BULLSHIT. And what spawned from that was Misa's own musical genius. Sure he was a genius before, but this took it to another level. His solo album incorporates one of the best uses of a synthesizer that I have ever heard..oh my lORDT 💦💦 Of course I have to add this one - an old band from one of my current faves, MERRY~ As one of the guitarists was in Syndrome, the other was in Shiver, which was a really good, but short-lived band ;w; I also started listening to them (specifically their mini-album) around the time I got into vk, but recently a song cover by Under Fall Justice reignited my love for them again - obviously the original one (the 2nd vid below) is still better. Some other bands that I briefly got into during my 90s binge~

I was wondering what they were gonna do on this date; glad things turned out for the better! Hopefully they'll have better luck with this lineup.

I see my rip has been stolen 👀 but fuck yeah, Kalavinka! I recently just got into them, and I was luckily able to find this particular single on closetchild! They're really good, and that drives me to learn more about these bands! I honestly don't know jackshit about angura kei, other than caligari and maybe Marco and Merry??? (I doubt they even count tho...) I also listened to one song from Strawberry Song Orchestra, but I really wasn't into it... I'll definitely check out some of those other bands on the list tho! WHAT

From 2003 to 2013, UNDER CODE PRODUCTION played a big part in establishing indie bands, some to the point where they got contracts from major labels. Because of their impact, some of these bands still stick with us to this day, even as members form new bands or retire from music altogether. Personally, my favorite UNDER CODE band was Megaromania. They were actually my gateway to visual kei, and later to UNDER CODE (specifically We Love UCP~), and their melodic metal tunes made me stick around for a short while until they dissolved along with the label itself. Now that I look back on them, I much rather prefer their earlier period before 2010, as they were less metal-oriented and more focused on their softcore sound. I still follow the members to this day, and thankfully only Sui is still around right now ;w; Out of the many bands in the UNDER CODE roster, which ones were your favorites? Feel free to share your favorite releases, lives, memories, etc~

Sweet! Glad they're back!
