I prefer Vistlip, the two are somewhat similar but Vistlip's melodies are more catchier for me ( ′~‵)

For me it was in 2006, when Nightmare was singing Deathnote's ED/OP. Can't believe it's already been over 10yrs...

You are lucky. Japanese language classes here are full of otakus but barely anyone (esp for guys) are vk fans lol. I'm Japanese anyway so I can't really go to jp classes in the first place XD I get what u mean haha not every fan is friend material, I admit a fair portion of big vk fans (including me) are weird in various ways How'd u meet your friends? I'm assuming at a concert? Yeah tell me about it it's depressing having 0 friends with similar music taste nearby
  4. Man, it's my first day actually on this site since I registered but I find the forum so confusing XD

      1) Status updates are usually displayed on the right side of the desktop site, or if you're on mobile, they'll be at the bottom of the page. You can also see the latest statuses in the Activity tab (displayed at the top of the page). In order to see all statuses without a barrage of forum posts, you may create a new Activity stream by doing the following:

      • Hover over Activity tab > click the dropdown arrow > click on "Create new stream" at the bottom of the list
      • You will then be redirected to a new page where you can filter whatever you want to see in the Activity page. In this case, all you have to do is go under Content Types and click on "Status updates", and then click "Save changes".
      • You will now be able to see status updates on your new activity stream! In order to see it again, go to Activity > My Activity Stream > click on your stream below "Custom Streams"

(If this is too much, or hard to follow, then let me know ^^; )

      2) Yeah, basically the reputation count is based on how many likes you get on your posts ^^

  5. Hi everyone! ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶ I'm just wondering if there are other VK fans in Canada? (well, Vancouver to be precise) The sad thing is, even though I got a bunch of online Vk buddies on facebook/twitter, literally everyone is either in the Europe area or in the States...absolutely noone remotely close to me or even in the same country. Ofcourse, the Vk page on facebook are filled with users far away as well smh. It'd be great if I had some fellow fans living nearby to chat or get together once in a while so I'm just taking a chance and asking here~ (>.<) Yes I do see the odd goth/punk style folk here who "might"like VK as well but I do not have the balls to start a convo with a stranger on the street LOL. On a similar note, do you guys have trouble finding VK friends nearby or am I just in an unlucky area?

Noooooo~ So f'n disappointed to hear this they should've been more popular imo Pretty sad that literally 50% of the bands I like have been disbanding in the past 2 years
  7. Omg...never realised Vivid's vocal had a solo project "Just going true side" sounds nice~
  8. Awesome! Sounds like a darker version of Diaura Very solid for a 1st single~

As a Japanese who lived in Japan for 1/3 of my life, I'll have to say it's not that Japanese men dislike it but it's BY FAR more popular amongst girls. The reason being is Japan is quite narrow minded (yeah hard to believe isn't it?) when it comes to a persons appearance or interests...and VK is generally classified as overboard. Guys just won't be driven to the extent where they want to be in a Vkei band or dress up VK outside just because they're interested . Not to mention (I guess this applies for all countries but) it's 100% understandable that a straight guy feels off seeing guys in heavy makeup and flashy clothes singing heavy music. Therefore it's natural that the majority of Japanese fans are girls...in fact I don't have a single Japanese guy friend that's very into VK in comparison to 30+ girls. I guess in the end the music itself is likeable, but guys who like it are well aware of the negative views they recieve so they don't even bother with anything VK. Perhaps if the music was more mainstream like in the 90s/early 2000s then the fanbase would be more even amongst genders.
  10. That's unfortunate, I liked his voice
