  1. "You are Kaya. You are beautiful and you know it. Isnt it great that people dont know if youre male or female."

o_o Well I do have a woman figure somewhat and long eyelashes

  2. This was during my junior year of high school, image a beautiful girl. Not too skinny and not too big, just right. Bubbly, warm and happy. A couple of days in, she starts to compliment my long eyelashes and play with my hair, calling me cute too. Homecoming was 1 week away. So I was about to ask her to homecoming but I had heard she was going to be moving cities so I haulted.

My friend Will staged an event, he said, "Hey what do you think about my buddy Mike?" She said (I quote from Will), "He's really funny and cute, I'd date him except I miss my girlfriend at home."
So it turns out that she was an adorable, great girl but she was a lesbian (no intention to bash on those who are lesbians or gay).

It still randomly rings in my head every now and then. Somewhat sad......

  3. I see some differences in age minus maturity. Even though I'll be at the young age of 17 in November, I've never been on a date. Say someone is 20 and they want to date an 18 year old, I see no problem since both are basically "of age". However, I would date someone 20 at max. 3 year age gap but when I hit eighteen, 4 year age gap at max.
There are limits, anyone younger than 16 shouldn't be dating anyone out of their age *my opinion*, but I do have three friends who did date freshmen when they were seniors, it was in our school book. As long as both know what they want to do then I say go for it but be prepared.

  4. I've listened to Mejibray [sadisgate, Raven, Sabato and Avalon]. Sad to say I liked them but their vocalist with certain pitches was just a bit too much for me. The instruments however, were good. You are right though, the GazettE is more of.... their own style.

Maybe I'm aiming more towards J-Metal but I thank you for the conversation.

  5. What about the tempo?

I'm unsure but maybe I need more fast paced drumming and a "harder" sound to it. Some screams here and there?

Ruki does a good job but I feel as if something is missing.... *for me at least* or maybe they'll grow on me.  A bit more speed too

  6. I found out Smashing Pumpkins via browsing wrestling theme songs. I like their music, "Bullet with Butterfly Wings". ^^

    1: DELUHI - Revolver Blast

    2: Nighmare - MASQUERADE

    3: Amon Tobin - Switch

4: Nicholas Nolan & Bart Hendrickson - Razor Blaze

5: Kids Alive - Ready Go!

    6: girugamesh - Asking why

    7: Golden Bomber - Memeshikute (K-Pop Version)

    8: SuG - sweeToxic

    9: heidi. - Charles

10: Finger Eleven - Panic Attack

:/ Tough one to pick but it came down to "Switch" . Amon Tobin's music is so weird and different but that's the good part. Some jazz too

  7. As the title inquires, if you didn`t have Japanese music (VK, Indie, Pop, Idol, Electronic, or whatever you like / love) what would you be listening to, and how would your life be different?

I'd definitely be listening to more heavy metal or for those who want to call it "Finnish heavy metal" or lost somewhere in EDM music.

How much does Japanese music add to your life?

Somewhat added more to my life but it taught me that music can touch your heart. And it's made me a happier person, it opens hidden emotions.

Would there be any benefits to not having it, like a heavier wallet or bigger bank account? Or is it just plain worth it?

It's definitely worth buying and supporting the artists in my opinion. So it'd keep me a bit more wealthier if I didn't buy their CDs.

Do you have irreplaceable friends you found through Japanese music?

    None yet.

Has it opened up your life more? Gave you an interest in Japanese culture? How would your interests change if you didn`t have this music?

I mostly watched anime before listening to J-rock and I had no opinion on the culture or the people. Through bands I've found that they're very good people and want to support their fans and vice versa. Some people get injured and continue to play for fans which is awesome :D | I find it very different from the American culture and music (maybe depending on the subculture/group?)
Out of 712 songs on my MP3 player, 490 are by Japanese artists, so it'd be pretty dry. Also, my friends keep trying to hook me up with Asian girls ~_~

  8. The title says Matsutake Works (マツタケワークス) in katakana (matsutake is apparently a pine mushroom, hence the shrooms).

From Google search it looks affiliated w/ vk bands (Matsuoka Age/ Age), but I'm not entirely sure what's beyond that. (newbie Japanese learner :P)

(UNDER CODE also showed up so they might have something to do with it, idk)

Thank-you very much ^^ I had saw something about (Sandwich de 120 pun?) and this website popped up. Possibly, they're back.

  9. Hello everyone ^^

My friends online and offline usually call me "Kei"

I found this website while searching up Luzmelt, one of my favorite bands. Currently being burned alive in the hot state that is Arizona.

I've been into Japanese rock for about a year and a half now. The first ever band I herd was girugamesh. They were recommended as a "different" band to listen to by my friends. I instantly became interested with more J-rock after listening to Reason of Crying and MUSIC. Some J-metal here and there

Any-who minus the small talk, some of my favorite bands are:

    Luzmelt

    lix

    DELUHI

    Nightmare

    girugamesh

    SuG

    UNiTE.

    UnRealistic

    THE KIDDIE

    heidi.

    DELACROIX

I hope to have a fun time and meet a variety of great, new and fun people here ^^
