    Thank you for your replies so far!

     

    Well, I might have not been clear enough, but I was actually looking for "proper magazines" on the first place, with long interviews, and not flyers nor music CDs (even if they are cool as well, but won't be this useful in my study).

    Hello everyone,

     

     

    I am a student and I am about to make a research on Visual kei, and for that I am looking for magazines, as many  as possible, or even CDs containing interviews/making-of etc.
    What I need is textual material about Visual kei: it can be Vk members talking about their band, themselves and their work AND japanese (or why not foreign) articles about Vk.


    If you have an old collection to get rid off, please contact me ! (The best for me would be to have magazines published in various years, in order to get a broad perception, but not  to get 20 magazines of the year 2005, or 20 magazines on the same band for example).

    Also, if you have any contact or bloggers/whatever you know that could help me / sell me stuff, please reply as well!

    Indeed, I don't really like this look as it seems to show no high quality music... But I may be wrong!! 

    (Oh and "pop rock electro music" can sometimes be very great! It depends on bands and their talent^^) wait&see huh

    I really liked kameleo's and AYABIE's versions!

    I hated ZORO's version too.. I usually like their stuff but here, no.

    Moran's one was quite good too.
     

    DOG, DIV, DaizyStripper, R-shitei, v[NEU] made nothing really interesting to me.

    In fact all these covers were just a matter of business. Poor SID who were just a tool for other bands to make them earn money easily.... It's so bad^^"

    I don't want to sound like a "killjoy" but.. I am really disappointed with this preview.

     

    It doesn't sound Kiryu-ish, very boring, not catchy, an out of tune atmosphere and it's very generic. Although the "break" before the pre-chorus is quite nice.

    I've liked their previous singles (but Tomoshibi) however, I haven't love any of them - unlike for Shuka Ensen, which I've thought was a very great album.

     

    This new album doesn't appeal to me at all... I hope I'm wrong.

     

    Even their look is tasteless and not sophisticated... It's such a pity !!!!

     

    That's maybe the message of this PV... Kiryu is dead (?)

    I was kinda surprised at first, as for me, a best album is an album which contain the "best songs" of a band, their more popular ones... But here they put their whole discography XD And it is totally awesome for the price, I think it's pretty cheap for all this content!! I'm so happy―

    I'm not so much into Oshare Kei but I like some ZORO's songs...

    So you should try their album COSMO -Stainless Music- , the songs of it are very catchy and the whole CD exudes a sort of danceable atmosphere, because of the riffs and of the battery. Very rythmical songs♪

    Do you like any other eiji projects?

     Well I saw a few videos of "Himitsu Kessha Codoma A" on youtube and I liked it. I also saw on last.fm a few months ago that eiji had several projects (I wasn't aware at all of it xD) but I haven't found any link for downloading on the internet, so I can't answer ^^'

     

     

    I am a rabid DoginTheパラレルワールドオーケストラ fan.

     

    So am I XD A few years ago I made a french forum about them, then I made a blog where I tried to translate their blog posts, then a facebook page ... I was stalking them on the internet xD But I slowed down since several months as their latest releases disappointed me a bit. I prefer rock and "madness" much more than soft pop ^^' that's a pity but I still trust them to impress me.

    Hello everyone !

    Well I don't know how to introduce myself... so I would say that I'm a guy, 17 y o and I've been fond of Oshare kei (and japanese music in general) for almost 5 years now maybe ?

     

    I hope I won't lose credibility as I also enjoy old school Visual kei bands and "darker" Vk (or even jmetal) bands as well haha 

    But my favorite bands are

    カメレオ (kameleo)

     

    I also love 己龍 (kiryu), サンドイッチで１２０分？(Sandwich de 120pun?), Fear, and Loathing in Las Vegas, D.I.D
    And of course I like popular bands such as An Cafe, LM.C, SuG, Nightmare, THE GAZETTE, Moi Dix Mois...

     

    Well that's it for my fav (maybe too long? XD)

     

     

    Euhm.. I'm also fan of japanese fashion (mainly from 原宿 / Harajuku) and of rock music generally speaking ^^"

     

    That's all !

     

    PS: oh and as you might have found out, I'm French, therefore sorry if there are mistakes (´Д` ) haha
