Guest Magatsu Posted November 17, 2012 Yeah then I would be more happy. But that's not the reason. If they wanna do a couple tour. then they should do it with a band who is really known in the countries. (you know a Dutch band could be a band who did played at the studio of "De Wereld Draait door") But I remember this French band, I saw it somewhere on TV. I think at MTV? I wonder if people show up who are fan of the band at the Dutch show. Maybe I should ask my uncle about how popular they are o.o Since he work at the Dutch music industry. (at a high position) But I'm more annoyed by the fact that they did announce it one month before the damn show.

They're just an opener, half an hour of extra music won't kill you :/ And if you're really that set on 'having to sit trough them', go grab a drink in the lobby? :/ And if you're worried about catching your last train, it starts pretty early so you'll probably be able to make it. Gizorz 24 Posted December 19, 2012 From ASTAN's facebook concerning the UTRECHT gig: Blackline Utrecht !! Important Message!! Guest Magatsu Posted December 20, 2012 BLACK LINE NETHERLANDS. Band arrived around 16:30 with the before band and Torpedo staff. Steff Arrived way later (around 17:15?) because his navigation broke during his trip to Tivoli. (lol) I was ASTAN staff member however, I was not allowed to get in, or to be backstage (the whole day) because of dude from Torpedo. So when Steff was finally there I also could get finally in. We also did notice that they needed lot's of time for SOUND check. Around 17:45 we did go to get some rubber band and a little bit food. Then we did go back. And made the posters for the VIP ready. I think around 18:15~30? Steff did go and leave up the VIP things to me. STEFF didn't sleep for more than 30 HOURS because of changing the venue and some other stuff. Steff also have night/day swift (Yes, he also has to live so he has a normal Job) so it kinda overlapped this time. I leaved to VIP's inside. I think 10 min after that all others who had no VIP could go inside. So everyone was inside on time. People bought there stuff.. everyone was ready at 19:00. the 1st band did start playing on stage around 19:30 till ca. 20:00 BLACK LINE came on stage at 20:30 till 10:10 They played maybe only 8 full songs? and had an MC from about 15-20min? very very long. People really did enjoy it. However because they needed time for the SOUND CHECK and doing their MAKE-UP. VIP -> POSTER and Photo could not be possible before THE SHOW. (X.X) So after the show we made a line. I checked the people names if they where on the list. Also people asked me "What about handshake" I knew it was promised. So I asked JAY to do that after the VIP. So right after VIP their was handshake/hug for everyone. The actually schedule was: 18:00 [6pm] Doors open for VIP Ticket Customers and doing the VIP stuff. 18.45 [6.45pm] Doors open other Customers 19:15-19:45 for band [7.15pm-7:45pm] 20:00-21:30 Black Line [8pm-9.30pm] 21:45-22:00 [9.45pm-10.00] HANDSHAKE EVENT / NO SIGNING SESSION 22:15 END [10.15pm] But schedule was: 18:15~ Doors open for VIP 18:40~ DOORS open for everyone 19:30~ For band start 20:30~ Black Line 22:15~ VIP 22:45~ Handshake 23:00~ End? At least I needed to leave. But the band was at 3:00am BACK at the Hotel. And. Normally Juul-chan does do the VIP stuff. And I only helped 1 time before at Megaromania gig. so for me was everything NEW. and no STEFF for help... after he left. And I didn't knew that BEFORE I did go. so he told me when he did arrived.. But I hope that everyone could enjoy the show. And I already did read that some people talked with them outside when they decided to leave? Thanks to JAY. Nyasagi 259 Posted December 20, 2012 I was ASTAN staff member however, I was not allowed to get in, or to be backstage (the whole day) because of dude from Torpedo. Haha, he has some kind of weird obsession. My friend was picking up her ticket in the club once and they told her to wait in front of the office, but Jay came and wanted to throw her out of there, because the band was in some room behind a wall... She didn't even know about it, neither she came to fuck them, she was just waiting for her ticket.
Gizorz 24 Posted December 20, 2012 I think he's just a bit paranoid, I've heard quite a few times in the past that people managed to sneak backstage at Torpedo shows. They also work with volunteer staff a lot so they gotta make sure the right people get in. He's a really cool guy when you get to know him though. The live was nice, better than expected
